  1. Happy New Year ! It was an interesting night to be out and we were caught by surprise by these street racers.
  2. So many cars turned out for the Final Drive of the Decade it was amazing. Awesome performance cars by the dozen. The video is nothing special, I just walked the parking lot to capture as many cars as I could and I still missed bunch. After the Cars and Coffee there was a drive on some of the best roads California has to offer. About 80% of the cars went on the drive and I had never seen that many cars on a run it was an amazing feeling. My Edge Sport had no problem keeping up in fact it surprised more than a few. Unlike the tight twisty canyons I am so familiar with, I had never been on these roads before and no joke we are talking smooth fresh pavement with sweeping turns and some of the most beautiful farmlands ever. The drive ended at the Pacific Coast Hwy in Malibu. I had no idea that these farms or roads existed, thousands of acres of produce were growing and smooth fresh blacktop ... amazing.

I have a tune by Granatelli Motor Sports located in Oxnard Ca. And yes it is fun to best a car that costs twice as much.

    EDGE ON SNAKE.jpg

Remembering what Mulholland was like before the fire.
  8. Added exhaust heat wrap to help protect the oil pan and PTU.
  9. Special_K and Snmjim achieved this incredible record with bolt on parts that they helped develop, test and bring to market, Now it is easy for anyone to follow in their footsteps with just a phone call or click and build a 500HP Edge Sport. What they have done is not just a personal victory but one for the entire Edge community .
  10. OMG !!!! if I read that correctly that is just over 480HP and 550 TQ at the Wheels!!! Assuming 23% parasitic loss thats around 595 Horse Power and a whopping 676 Torque at the flywheel. Congratulations are in order .
  11. Just added a crankcase vent breather filter but I can only use it while at the track. This is no problem as is a direct swap for the oil cap and can be swapped out in seconds with no tools. I found it on " The Ultimate 2.7TT Aftermarket Parts Thread! "

Thats all it took to smoke the the guy in his new Range Rover Sport SVR. They are rated at 4.4 zero to 62 mph . But 5.1 was all I needed.
  13. The oil pan on the 2.7EB has been a problem with several of us . This topic has been covered in detail here and Fords instructions on the fix need to be followed to the letter. The problem is how well the dealership follows Fords instructions. It is a easy job, it just cannot be rushed and done in a day.
  14. When the Mulholland Snake was open I would go there a lot . By a lot I am talking 3 sets of tires in 24,000 miles!! It is a 2 mile hill climb and it is where I test the car because I know it so well. Most of the variables are out of the equation and the difference in time is mostly due to the parts change. By adding this Strut Tower Brace, I was 4 seconds quicker to the the top than with just H&R springs. Faster times can be made by straightening out the road but I always stay in my lane and never cross the line. 4 seconds is a lot I have been trying to better my best time and finding just one more second has been allusive. There is less effort when turning at speed and better control overall. Before the brace the front end would wonder about some under load in the corner as the front end flexed. I would have to make small steering adjustments constantly. The brace gives me more confidence and a more precision line around corners. The car sets now and holds the line making it easier to drive. Easier to drive in the twists and when on the highway when traveling at 60.70,80 MPH sudden lane changes ( like to avoid something ) it provides a measure of safety and control. It works hand in hand with the H&R springs and I would recommend a Strut Tower Brace to anyone looking for better cornering and control. If you already have the H&R springs then this is the way to go it is an easy install. ** If you do not push the car it makes no difference at all and this is what I am thinking happened here with HockyShot39. If you ever do push it you will be happy you added this performance part.
  15. Tasca has an OEM horn for your car $43 https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-horn-bt4z13832a/?c=Zz1lbGVjdHJpY2FsJnM9aG9ybiZpPU1TMTExNTg1JnI9MSZhPWZvcmQmbz1lZGdlJnk9MjAxMSZ0PWxpbWl0ZWQmZT0zLTVsLXY2LWdhcw%3D%3D I was able to replaced the horn in my 2016 Sport in about 40 min or less, super easy to do. If it is the same set up you just remove the headlight assembly for access. There is a thread here on how to do it with a instructional video.
  16. This guy was having a good Thanksgiving LOL
