  1. The CF just arrived and it is the wrong thickness. I use 0.120, this material I received is only 0.060 thick. That is half as thick as I use. I contacted my vendor and they are going to replace the CF with the correct product. Only problem is that it has to be made so there is going to be a little delay until the material can be manufactured and shipped. No time was given by the vendor but I think they will fix the problem quickly.
  2. I have been working on the Adaptor mold, making some major changes to it. It is still a ways off from being done but progress continues.
  3. I can't believe it, the CF material has been shipped in less than one week.... not 4 to 6 weeks as in the past.
  4. I just ordered up another batch of the Carbon Fiber material . When it arrives I will be doing the first run of 2022 ---- 4 ABS and 5 CF V2s.
  5. Have put in some time on the Adaptor Plate and have sorted out the latches. I still have to rebuild the mold before it is ready.
  6. Yes you can install the thermostat first then get the tune.
  7. Thanks red95Stang, To think I did not know if the V3 would even fit the ST, and the first V3 installed is in a ST. So I can now say that the V3 fits both the Sport and the ST as long as they run the 2.7EB or 3.0TT.
  8. Yes, I hav several thousand miles on my V3 in different conditions. Stop and go traffic, highway and of course canyons in the heat and rain , but not in snow. . I cannot give hard numbers but I did see a little fuel milage improvement around 1 to 1.5 MPG. And the my butt dyno likes it. lol.
  9. I am sorry to see you moving on from the Edge platform. When you first started this journey there were few if any performance parts available for the Edge. You have pushed it to the max and given the Edge community a plethora of bolt on performance parts to work with. Your legacy will live on as a leader of the Edge performance community. Thank you both snmjim and Special_K for all you have contributed. You guys rocked it with a world record that will stand for decades !
  10. I would need both the car and a OEM Sight Shield to work with.
  11. I hear you, I wish I had an ST so I could develop one.
  12. If anyone was wondering how to obtain a V2 or V3 this is what to do. 1. Join the forum, it is free. 2. PM me by clicking on my name or avatar . Then click on the envelope icon. it is that easy .
  13. Decided to do some work on the Adaptor and sorted out exactly where the mold needs to be modded. That big a** filter needed more breathing room. lol The new thicker ABS worked out great and is much stronger, I like it. I will have to try and obtain some more lids though, and I am not sure if that is even possible , but I am moving forward with this adaptor project anyway. I will also have to modify the gasket some as it is a little bit narrow, as seen in the photo. .
  14. Yes, it was by chance and a bit by accident. Someone ordered a V3 and only after it shipped I discovered it was for an ST. It was a bit awkward explaining that it might not fit and that their car was now the test mule, but they stepped up instead of just returning it. The V3 is in transit and should arrive around Christmas, so we should know around the New Year sometime if we are lucky ?
  15. Still have some V2s available from the last batch that are ready to ship. Both CF and ABS are in stock. Eye candy Precision fit High gloss finish
  16. The V3 is going to be test fit on a ST in a few weeks. I checked and the ST and Sport both use the same air box, filter and lid. It should fit, and it will be confirmed soon.
  17. Thanks ? that’s how I felt about it, a ocean of plastic that needed to be trimmed down.
  18. Finished V3 lid with Aux Air ready for to ship.
  19. Well it turns out that the engine cover does fit without any trimming it at all. But I did it anyway lol .. I still like it better without the engine cover. Perhaps it is because I am use to seeing it without the cover on. I will leave it like this for awhile.
  20. I think that by trimming the engine cover along this natural line might let it fit properly and still show off the V3. I just might do that myself to find out.
  21. Thanks for the props, mucho appreciate that ?? . Just put 3 of the longer clips in the mail for you.
  22. Great photos, and I am happy you like it. No Worries,I will mail you a couple extra clips to replace the missing one.
