Hey, I took an Edge off the lot and I got a well appointed SEL, but did not have Sirius installed. This kinda sucked but I have a Sirius Sportster unit and instead of using the FM transmitter, I now use the line out to the audio input in center console, although I haven't hid that cable or the antenna cable yet, it can be done real nice. Also the antenna works ok hid inside the windshield.
I have features a standard indash Sirius/Ford radio doesn't have, but it is nice to have it indash. I found the little nook, next to the 12v outlet, to squeeze the unit in & plug right in. So far it sounds great (a lot better than the fm trasmitter) and I have the little remote so for a Man it's perfect...LOL!
You can get bare bones unit (smaller will fit better in that nook) for $50 or a Sportster Model with the 45 minute review funstion (kinda like a tive for the Sirius) for like $125.
