Well she ended up buying a 09 Sport Blue (color will look great on the Edge) Milan today instead of the Edge. I wasn't crazy about the pick but it is loaded and fit better in her price range. Thanks for everyones help.

If she leased the Audi yes, but she has a regular loan. That's the only way it works according to the dealer. We are really close on the deal but looking for another grand that we don't have.

From everything I read and also the dealer when I went in tonight the Conquest cash is only for people leasing a non-Ford product. Needless to say we weren't close on numbers yet and I need a X plan PIN.

I'm going to see if I can get an X-Plan PIN because the dealer said they would honor it plus all the rebates and such. I might be able to get her in a new 08 Limited after all. That would be one Audi convert for Ford.

I had a feeling timing is everything. My local dealer Len Stoler is advertising $6500 back on a new Edge so I'm interested how I can get that. I'm going to call them today but I have a feeling it's a gimmick. Right now on the Ford website in the Baltimore, MD area it seems the most I could get back is about $3000.

I posted in this forum a while back when my girlfriend started her search for a used 07 Edge. However, I hear all this talk and ads on TV of crazy cash back. It looks like on top of A and X- Plan pricing to boot. However, I read the Ford site and nothing seems to add up to the $4k plus I see people getting. How does one pull this off? She wants to pull the trigger on one ASAP! Thanks!

My girlfriend currently has a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T and wants to get an Edge. She wants to keep her payments under $350 a month so we are looking for a 2007 with low miles. Her one requirement is the Edge have AWD. She wants a stick but realizes that it's not an option in the Edge. I have a couple questions that hopefully everyone can answer. 1) Is there anything I should know in terms of problems with the 07 to look for? 2) What is the difference between an SEL and SEL Plus? I see that 08 they did a name change to Limited. 3) What is a fair price on a used Edge SEL Plus with the vista roof, upgraded wheels, and less then 20k miles on it? We saw one for $23995 like this but it was sold before we got to the dealer. The price seemed fair but then again I really don't know what the Edge market is right now.
