To kp613. I took pictures as well and the pattern is very similar to yours. Glass separated along the bottom of window. Window held together until the vehicle came to a stop and then when I opened the driver door, glass shards started to fall into cargo area from centre of window. Ford also fixed mine under warranty and provided loaner vehicle.

In my case, also a 2015 Edge SEL, the vehicle had been parked outside for 2 days in -5C (around 23F) temperatures and the window failed about 1/2 hour into the drive home from Toronto to Ottawa on Boxing Day) . 2nd winter for the vehicle. 29000 km on the odometer.

I had the rear defrost engaged at the time the incident occurred. Looks like the break emanated from base of the window.

2015 Ford Edge SEL - my rear window shattered yesterday while driving on Hwy 401 near Toronto. Vehicle not hit by anything just a loud bang and the rear windshield cracked in hundreds of places; held together until I stopped and turned off engine then glass collapsed into hundreds of shards.
