  1. I never had any such issues going to 2.3 and neither with 3.0
  2. The only thing I detect different is the WifI notice on every start - I'll just go and disable WiFi in the settings.
  3. There's a thread specifically created for V3.0 http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/24067-official-release-of-v30-for-sync3-has-begun/
  4. I just updated mine using a 4GB USB stick - it took 25 minutes and I just kept the engine idling with my garage door open. I cant detect any changes.
  5. For the 2.3 update I left my engine running - this requirement is crazy, and I'll give it a try with just the ignition on.
  6. I'll give them a try next time - https://www.amazon.com/automotive-FA-21-Carbon-Activated-Premium/dp/B01IW17N3U/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1521401090&sr=1-1&keywords=atp+cabin+air+filter+fa-21
  7. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HFL9SBO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have the OEM on hand and will install it in a few weeks time when I'm at 25K miles/14 months.
  8. Sounds like you're describing my 2017 Sport 2.7L BTW, the 2.7L fuel consumption is much the same as the 3.5L The thing that put me off the 3.5 was the internal water pump and the many reports of the water pump failing and contaminating the engine oil.
  9. Browse this thread for more info on the PTU and RDU. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10914-ptu-leak-failures/page-26
  10. That would be the PTU that enigma-2 is referring to with oil changes every 30K
  11. The Mobil mail in rebates for 2018 has opened - you can buy 5 quarts at Walmart for $13.50 after mail in rebate. 2 per household. https://mobiloil.com/en/promotion/mobil-promotions/17-off-motor-oil-march-may-2018
  12. https://www.costco.com/Mobil-1-Advanced-Full-Synthetic-Motor-Oil-5W-30.product.100169695.html I have enough stock now for 30,000 miles, just over a year for me at the current rate, built up from Costco and Amazon sales, so will only be looking at these specials in about 8 to 10 months from now.
  13. https://www.etis.ford.com/selectedVehicleDetails.do Build Date: 09.01.2017 Bottom of window sticker. 2/17/2017 Door jam 1/17 What's my build date then?
  14. I like it, but cant find one for Apple phones.
  15. The Sport has a temp sensor - not sure if there's an alert associated and at what temperature.
  16. Same experience here. After it getting in the way each time we go shopping, its laying collecting dust in the corner of the garage.
  17. Is the Adjustable, 2-stage shock/impact sensor available as an add-on for my 2017 Edge Sport.
  18. Looks like 590 CCA - when I need one I'll look to see if a larger one will fit. Its a Group 90 , and the longer Group 48 will fit. http://www.batteryweb.com/bci.cfm Costco has the original size for $90 and $110 for the larger one, with 3.5 year free replacement warranty.
  19. I've done it twice and found that there was enough space to use the nozzle on the bottle and although that's relatively easy to do, I bought one of the hand pumps.
  20. I'm interested to hear from those that know the difference between the models, and whether your PTU would fit other models. If mine needs replacement one day I might look at getting one like yours.
  21. I don't know which models have that cooling arrangement, but can confirm that my 2017 Sport does not.
  22. Post #472 See post #488 of a 2016 Titanium PTU, and it looks very different to yours. If that is in fact the PTU, it looks more robust than the one on the Sport.
  23. See if you can get the part numbers from them and try Amazon where a few dealerships sell parts, and if they have it then it looks like your dealership is giving you the run-around.
