  1. I would take a low pressure warning at face value until proven otherwise. It could be the oil solenoid valve that regulates the pressure, but best to have something like that checked ASAP.
  2. Way back, my dad used to trickle flow water into hot running engines intakes and it would effectively de-carbonize the engine - I wonder if this procedure is something like that?
  3. I'm pretty sure my 2017 Sport came with HID's - they're white.
  4. That's a whole lot cheaper than this one - https://www.factoryrepairmanuals.com/2017-ford-edge-factory-service-manual-cd-original-shop-repair/ Any more reasonably priced ones available?
  5. I can't offer too much advice here, but can tell you what I saw when one of my signature lights was replaced, it is a bulky fitting that included the black trim (bezel) pieces.
  6. I tried that, but I suspect mine is too tough for that due to the length of time its had to bake on. I used Goo Off (like Goo Gone) with a magic eraser and it worked the best of all, finished off with Ultimate Black and it still looking good since a day after your post. Thanks, I'll be giving that a try.
  7. All service work comes with a warranty. Get a quote and see if its worth making it their baby - can't see it being more than 30 to 60 minutes.
  8. Spend a little and have the dealership do it, and then they're locked into a warranty on it.
  9. Where did you read that - any chance you could post a link?
  10. Must have just dropped to that again in the last couple of days. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000COX0JM/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I1TO5NU8UU9MH3&colid=7FQZRUTL8DOG&psc=0
  11. So for most owners in the US Ford considers the PTU lubed for life.
  12. Does your PTU use transmission oil or gear oil?
  13. My gut also tells me you'll be back - is it a warranty repair, and if so can't you take it to another dealer?
  14. If yours failed doing 30K oil change intervals I need to consider doing mine every 15K. I wonder what the current models failure rate actually is, and if there's any stats to confirm that oil changes are really effective in avoiding failures vs Ford's "filled for life".
  15. What I was saying is that with oil changes you're less likely to have issues - would that be correct, or not?
  16. Change the PTU oil every 30K miles or less and you're unlikely to have issues.
  17. You should take another look where you read that. Mine also has navigation and is build 18025
  18. Thanks, that got me searching for the TSB and found this: Can't find more detail.
  19. Occasionally when after parking and turning off the ignition I hear what sounds like a fan coasting down, with a metallic rattle. It could be one of the cooling fans or one of the two turbo chargers - anyone else hear this, and if it is the turbos coasting down, should I be concerned or does this sound normal? Got 22K miles on it - it can only be heard if your outside the car near the front.
  20. My 2017 Sport, which I guess has the same brake rotors, has 23K miles on the clock now and no issues.
  21. The corrosion on the brake rotors might be effecting the feel, or the brake fluid being hygroscopic has drawn moisture - if the brakes don't settle in soon to what they were before the storage, I'd get them checked out. Check rotors and test the brake fluid.
  22. I'm sure that I've seen a post from you stating that its only the Sport that has the PTU drain plug.
  23. Mine was connected to my home WiFi and it did when in range at home and in the parking lot at work.
