  1. Not directly below the air cleaner. See attached photo - its under the pipe below the red dot. Going to be a helluva task to check it with the engine running and hot.
  2. Thanks. My owners hand book is up to date then. I need to figure out a way to extract more from the RDU.
  3. This past weekend I did a 480 mile trip in 85 degF ambient and the JLT catch can collected a few milliliter of what looks and feels like reasonably clean oil. As can be seen in my prior posts, I was very skeptical, but with this evidence I can confirm that the JLT catch can does work, and would most likely work even better in lower ambient temps.
  4. 2017 Sport with 28K miles. Today I did a lube service, changed engine oil, PTU and RDU. I've done a few PTU oil changes, so its expected that its oil still looked very good, and the first oil change on the RDU, which also looked good (yes I know, its way early for t he PTU and RDU). I had to extend my oil extractor using a small silicone tube, but still got less than a quart out of it, and it took just less than a quart of Red Line 75W90. The owners manual states 2.4 pt for the RDU - is there a special technique to extract more? Also, the manual lists the PTU capacity at 11.8 oz , and I add about 85% of a quart jug.
  5. Anyone checked this pipe on theirs? Mine with 27K miles is bone dry.
  6. Welcome. Looks great - I see a few minor differences to the US model such as the fog lamps in the signature LED's on the front bumper and the turn signal on the wing mirrors. And the wing mirrors fold in, for the tighter parking that you have that side of the pond.
  7. Update: My backrest cooling no longer works on my 2017 Sport.
  8. Took a look at my seats today, and it looks like I already have the intake sock installed, so wonder what the dealership would do if I took it in for a warranty repair. The picture shows the sock protruding from the bottom of the backrest. I recall clearly that the seat and backs cooled very efficiently when I first bought the Sport, and now only the seats work. @tmarsh were you able to restore the upholstery to look as new without baggy or loose sections?
  9. Question: To assess whether the JLT catch can will work on your vehicle, pull the short hose off and inspect it internally, visually and with a Q-Tip, and if it is bone dry would that be a sign that your driving style does not require a catch can in this location?
  10. Thanks for all your info - I'm just finding it hard to spend $100+ to correct a problem on my vehicle that's still under warranty.
  11. I believe its another casualty of the recent forum update/upgrade, as reported here: https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/24544-since-the-forum-updateupgrade-the-recent-topics-is-not-updating/
  12. You know what they say about assumptions,....... Where are you getting you information from to guide/steer your assumptions? I'm keen to hear what the difference is on the AWD vehicles.
  13. Each time you should completely fill it to the normal level (the fill plug hole), and the number of short succession refills at about 100 miles would depend on the state of the oil that you drain.
  14. https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/24544-since-the-forum-updateupgrade-the-recent-topics-is-not-updating/page-2?do=findComment&comment=188107 Maybe an issue with the recent update/upgrade.
  15. Old thread revival in the hopes that he'll see the request for details on making the rear mudflaps fit, or maybe someone else has a solution for the rear.
  16. That's correct, there's no Sport mudflaps. I have the Ford ones on the front, and they fit OK, but if you look closely you can see that they're not designed for the trim profile. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/22129-mud-flap-splash-guard-oem-or-3rd-party/?hl=%2Bmud+%2Bflaps
  17. There's extensive roadworks that was completed around the time I bought my Sport in March 2017, and would not be surprised if these roads aren't on the latest maps, but when I went to check for updates I got the bellow message - is that normal that you need to get these from your local dealership?
  18. I'm sorry, you're right, I must have speed read the OP - I have the same understanding of "knockoffs" as you.
  19. I'd like much brighter front turn signal lamps and would really appreciate some advice on using these LED's The front turn signals go from dim to blinking - will these work the same, just brighter? If not, what modifications are needed to use these turn signal LED's ?
  20. A non-contact thermometer is not suitable for this. Get one of these cheap digital thermometers at Walgreens and fix it with tape, or whatever method you decide, at the outlet of one of the vents and record the temperature at low fan speed and high speed. A meat thermometer would also work. https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/procheck-30-second-flexible-dishwasher-safe-digital-thermometer-model%3a-mt1p21-pro/ID=prod6175073-product It sounds like an AC gas issue.
  21. I believe the OP was quite clear that he wanted OEM, not knock-off or third party aftermarket, and the two eBay links in this thread and the OP's Craigslist find are OEM, typically new "Take-Off's". The OP was looking for OEM, and that's not what you'll find at Summit Racing.
  22. I can't find OEM wheels on Summit Racing - could you post a direct link?
