Loss of brakes-Part II - The Smoking Gun....
1004ron replied to quincy's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
I'm not seeing any conclusive evidence here, and its not good etiquette to cross post the same thing all over the forum. Cant you post some evidence with links etc.? -
Its does - I'd get it changed if it was mine - might not be that easy, as the claim would be that's the latest trim. Great looking ride and really like that blue - it's almost like my wife's Mustang deep impact blue.

@WWWPerfA_ZN0W has previously confirmed that all 2015+ models have the drain plug. We have also seen differences between models - one model has cooling fins, which are not seen on the Sport.

Its sounded convincing to me !!!!

Is that the root cause of the PTU failures?

Premium gas vs. regular: what's really better
1004ron replied to enigma-2's topic in Articles, News & Reviews
I also use Costco exclusively, and when I travel I seek out Top Tier stations mostly Shell. The detergents clean the fuel system, and it results in less combustion chamber fouling. -
My last company Ford Fusion had a set of tires installed at Big-O which were close to the lowest priced they had, and they were damn noisy, couldn't distinguish whether the noise was from the front rear or left. Big-O did the alignment and check balance, and the noise persisted on the highway. When they had about half life I got the Ford dealership to install a set of tires and the noise was completely gone

Rear wiper
1004ron replied to Popadopolis's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
I'm sure it does, seeing as my 2017 does, but of course your owners handbook will confirm. I push the wiper stalk forward to spray and wipe the rear window. -
The PCV system issues are not limited to GDI and Ecoboost, its just exacerbated with those technologies. On a natural aspirated port injection, the PCV causes combustion chamber carbon build-up which is to some degree self regulating, but some of that carbon is driven into the piston rings and ring lan's - defeats the objective of using only Top Tier Gas. I use the oil trap on our 2015 3.7L V6 Mustang, 2017 Edge Sport, and 2008 Harley Nightrain [Harley vented to atmosphere].

Any way to fix the numb steering?
1004ron replied to ituhata's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
I haven't bothered with any of the modes, but can confirm my experience with my 2017 Sport is much the same as yours, rock solid at all speeds [only been up to 100 mph for short distance a few times]. Steering feel couldn't be better for me. -
How's the ST going, and have you decided the "next steps"?
-
As far as I know its to do with the fact that the passenger side vent pipe ties into the intake downstream of the throttle body, so it sees vacuum at closed or very low throttle position, drawing the crankcase vapours in.

Looks like its only available for Sync2 I'm keen to get map updates for my nearly two year old 2017 Sport - my home and a few of the new roads in my city aren't on the existing maps.

Here's a few threads on it. -
Find the most reputable paintless dent repair place in your area. I had some inconsiderate bastard open his door onto my 2017 Sport when it was only a few weeks old.

Is that a question or a statement? -
They were original install on my wife's 2015 Mustang, and we installed another set at 51K miles because they served us well and were well priced with a $50 rebate. Could have got another 2 to 3K miles out of them but wanted good tread depth for the winter.

BAFX Products Bluetooth Diagnostic OBDII Reader/Scanner for Android Devices That's not going to work with the Foscam full Windows version which is the only version capable of writing changes.

I bought the same one on Amazon and it works with my wife's Mustang and my Edge.

It looks like the 7440 switchbacks have a separate wire to power the white LED's while the turn signals are not on - I'm not too keen on that arrangement, and not sure that it will actually work on the Edge due to the low voltage/intensity when the turn signal is not on. http://store.ijdmtoy.com/No-Hyper-Flash-7440-LED-Light-Bulbs-p/20-101.htm http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Single-Filament-7440-LED-Switchback-Installation-a/597.htm

I just installed the below eBay switchbacks in my wife's 2015 Mustang, and wondering if they are the correct ones for my 2017 Sport - can anyone confirm this for me? https://www.ebay.com/itm/7444-7443-Switchback-LED-Bulbs-WHITE-AMBER-Dual-Color-Turn-Signal-Lamp-Light/192443860151?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
