With the NA 1 15 the NAV voice prompts always cut off the end of the sentence, which is fixed with the latest update.

We should consider the risk of an unsuspecting member trying such a daft idea.

Thanks. Saves me going to the owners manual this evening, because on the way home from work I realized that it's not something that will grow on me.

This morning I used the Navigation for the first time going to work. 1) It routed me off the interstate at the next exit which is not the exit used previously - had the same happen previously with one of my Garmin updates, then a later update corrected that. 2) The map orientation on the screen is different - now the top of the screen is always North, whereas before it kept your route facing the top of the screen - something I might get accustomed to, but doubt it - when approaching a turn the orientation of the pop-up on the right of the screen is way different to the map which is compressed on the left, which looks really odd.

Me, I don't gamble. If the oil light comes on, I stop the engine immediately until the problem is clearly identified and resolved - always trust the oil pressure instruments until proven wrong, and until then, don't run the engine.

During the process the "system updating" notice at the top of the screen disappeared, which got me worried that it had faulted, but good that I used a USB with an LED because I could see it still flashing.

The instructions say exFAT - I tried both on the Mac and my Windows laptop couldn't read it, so created the USB with my Windows machine.

Did the download on my MacBook Pro, and the vehicle wont respond to the USB, put it in my old Windows laptop and it doesn't read it, which explains why the car wont. Going to try the whole process again with Windows. Edit: lesson learnt, use my Windows laptop for this type of thing. Its installed and map version went from NA 1 15 to NA 1 18 , and my street shows.

Downloading now, and see that they expect the engine to be running for the 60 minutes install duration.

Thanks - I didn't scroll down that far, ..... just entered my VIN and Ser . Seeing as there was major road changes in and around my city in 2017, I'll skip this one, unless there was a reliable way of checking, ......... might take a look at a new model at the dealership in a couple of months.

Thanks for the heads up - a little pissed that I need to pay for my 2017 Sport. Would be good to know how "up to date" this release is, ....... hate to pay and find the maps are as outdated as they were when I purchased my Sport.

In March 2017 when I bought my Sport new it's maps were about 4 plus years old - there's major road changes in my city and my new subdivision doesn't show at all. I'll pay up and get the update when its available - glad to see that its imminent.

Looks like the latest Forscan revision displays the values differently. I'll change the "F200" to "F000" and take it for a test drive and report back. Edit: All done and a short test drive confirms that its quieter under hard acceleration, and something else I notice is the distinctly different tone of the parking sensor beeps. If I change the "F200" to "F000" , then automatically the last set changes from "00D2" to "0D00" - not sure what that's about.

9=FT present & CS: North American & ANC absent & USB present Wouldn't "9" be correct for my vehicle?

The leak on my 2017 Sport was from the Oil Solenoid near the main crank pulley.

I've seen a few posts and videos showing the auto transmission drain and fill, but none were of the Gen2 later models. Would welcome any tips and directions for my 2017 2.7L Sport.

Its a legitimate question - what's your actual problem with that? So, what is it with the OEM filter that you consider makes it a poor choice?
