  1. So to be clear, you had the same code before and after sensor replacement. What are you using to read the codes?
  2. I have two wheels with a little curb rash and I've been searching for a touch-up kit but found nothing. I might try this one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VF9S958/?coliid=I2GYQDO345CYI8&colid=7FQZRUTL8DOG&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1
  3. Take it back to Discount Tire - they can scan the ones they supplied and installed.
  4. If you do a search using this forum's URL in Google, you'll find that every 3rd party non-OEM brand does not work.
  5. I noticed the latest high-grade version of the FRAM oil filters in Walmart so bought a couple for my wife's BMW X5 and my Sport. I installed one of these filters in my wife's X5 and decided to take a look at it after +- 2K miles, and that was enough to return the unused filters to Walmart. The attached photos leave no doubt that the filter media presents a high flow restriction, enough to partially collapse the filter. 6. What brand of module did you use?

  8. Pulled one of the 95605 Ruthenium HX plugs for an assessment - perfect color and gap is a tight 30 thou unchanged from when I installed them 42K miles ago. Will check them again when they have a total of 80K miles on them, and will go with the one stage hotter plug NGK 90495 LTR6BHX when needed.
  9. I see the forums search feature is broken again. Best use the forum URL together with key words in Google. www.fordedgeforum.com ptu fluid change - Google Search
  10. 11. I got lucky today - my negligence didn't get me stranded, but it was close. I haven't been checking my emergency wheel pressure and when I needed it today it was at 40 psi, and the second near miss was the fact that only a couple of weeks ago I installed the new lug nuts that the dealership gave me when they damaged the original ones back in 2017. If I still had the old damaged lug nuts on, the emergency wrench would have been useless. On the way home from work on the I71 about 10 miles from home the tire pressure warning came on. I got off at the next exit which wasn't too far and by the time I got to a safe place to fit the emergency spare the TPMS was indicating 5 psi. Got home, plugged the puncture and all is good again. Also, got to use the new great chuck that I installed on my tire inflator.
  12. Have you tried searching the forum for "ptu" ?
  13. Not official BMW OEM. https://www.ebay.com/itm/235369028013
  14. Did you view the link I posted? Where/how did you arrive at a diameter difference of two inches? The diameter difference is 9.1mm i.e. 0.36 inch. Reading at 30mph = 30.37mph
  15. Having just gone from 19" 255mm wide tires to 20" 315mm tires while maintaining the circumference I can confidently say your statement is incorrect. Rim width went from 9" to 11". Using the below web site you can access the overall dimensions changing rim diameter, width and offset. https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=255&aspect=50&diameter=19&wheelwidth=9&offset=37&width2=315&aspect2=35&wheel_size=20&wheel_width=11&offset2=28 I did not use "guesswork".
  16. Welcome. That doesn't make any sense that it's vibrating and loose now, but will only need replacement in the next couple of years !! - who told you that? There's no one that can predict the mileage to catastrophic failure on a component like that which is showing the signs you describe.
  17. At 104K miles and I was looking to purchase new plugs to install during the next oil change, but found that NGK and RockAuto are listing a different hotter plug my for vehicle. Now listing NGK 90495 LTR6BHX heat range 6 vs the previous listed NGK 95605 LTR7BHX heat range is 7 I wonder what's behind the change to a hotter plug - anyone have some insight? Have had these plugs in for 42K miles and never skipped a beat.
  18. Be aware that when returning a lease, if the inspection reveals any component that does not meet the OEM spec, such as tire rating etc., you'll be billed for new replacements.
  19. As can be seen I did that job more than three years ago and can't recall all the detail, but I wouldn't have forced any component risking damage. Maybe @Haz can post the procedure from the Ford service manual.
  20. It should be the same as my Sport - I did not remove that tube, but would probably do so next time.

  22. Welcome. I doubt that anyone here could offer advice with the limited amount of information provided. Why did the console need replacement - was it a like for like replacement .....?
  23. Sounds like your dealership service manager is trying to pay his boat off faster. Did you check and confirm that all those brake parts were past their useful service life, or just take the word of the service shop? If you did check and confirm the brake parts needed replacement then "I do not drive crazy with my car" doesn't sound correct, and isn't the norm. You could have had the battery tested at AutZone free of charge, but no issue with that if it was replaced prematurely under warranty.
  24. You might have noticed from reading this thread that doing that is not good practice.
