Best you find another dealership because that one obviously doesn't keep up with notifications from Ford.

Signature LEDs in the bumper.

IIRC I bought them off Amazon - here's another seller. https://www.amazon.com/BSLighting-Power-Headlight-Daytime-Running/dp/B071CPSWJC/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=White+80W+CREE+H15+LED+Bulbs&qid=1572823605&s=automotive&sr=1-6 https://store.ijdmtoy.com/products/led-headlight-foglamp-40-344-white?_pos=1&_sid=dbc40d052&_ss=r Got to select the correct option. https://xotictech.com/products/xotic-tech-2-super-bright-100w-high-power-cree-h15-led-bulbs-for-vw-audi-bmw-mercedes-drl-lamps This one is 100W, a little brighter. -

The ones I installed appear to be a perfect color match. -

2015 Edge Sport 2.7 Ecoboost - Code P1450 - Purge valve
1004ron replied to druegeme's topic in 2.7L EcoBoost
Great video. Something I've changed when removing and replacing the engine cover, ....... I leave the oil filler cap in place, because the rubber grommet clears it easily and there's less risk of dust dropping into the engine. -
Doesn't the UPR plug also rely on an O-ring on the center part that's removed each time a service is done? - you'd need to change that internal O-ring each time - it would have the same risk of leakage as the original plug, which judging from the lack of reports and my experience is very low. Pneumatics and hydraulics use O-rings for piston sealing etc. which see a whole lot of usage and last ages.
-
It's not, take your time with with the original plastic plug and remember you don't need to extract it in one shot, you can ease it out and control the flow.
-
Check this thread and the below image showing the dipstick, which doesn't extend down to the bottom of the sump - not sure if yours is different, but let me know if it works for you.
-
Yes, your third party drain plug is just as unlikely as the original plug to impact your warranty. But your comment "I believe Ford recommends changing it every time" is not correct, and that is the only point I was making.
-
You're mistaken in your belief that Ford calls for the drain plug to be replaced at every oil change, ......... the dealerships don't change it at every oil change. You face the same risk of warranty being void if the third party plug you're using fails. Poll: I have yet to replace the oil drain plug 56%
-
I don't have any mess issues with the plastic drain plug, and have a spare one on hand but still using the original after 2.5 years and 9 oil changes.

SYNC3 Map Updates Available On Line

Yes. -
I use an oil extractor similar to yours, but it doesn't work on the 2.7L ecoboost because the tube doesn't go to the bottom of the sump.

Autozone also stocks the Motocraft filter. - https://www.autozone.com/external-engine/oil-filter/motorcraft-oil-filter-fl2062/12446_0_0 Quite straight forward. The cap might be bigger than your standard socket set includes. The small O-ring is a little tough to get off and on, just be patient - I use a cloth or gloves to get traction on the O-ring, and don't struggle as much as he did in the below video.

I order mine from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010QU0SPU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LAXYY02/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Any chance you could post a link to one of these direct fit aftermarket turbo's.

LOL, not even K&N make such claims.

I get this from that link: Search results for: 'product.aspx' - Your search returned no results.

There's a few items such as the drive shafts, CV joints and brake rotors that are not painted and will always get some surface rust fairly quick, but the other painted suspension parts are quite typical for areas that salt the roads - quite possible that it was driven by the dealer or driven to the dealer on salted roads and never rinsed off. In the photo of the brake rotor it looks like a bolt that's not fully tightened - got another photo of that? It would be very difficult to stand your ground with the dealer on the superficial rust, but would admit, not something I'd like, and many dealerships have similar discounts on vehicles that don't show those signs, and don't believe that's behind the discount you got.

For the TSB, see a few posts before yours - you could tell them that you're experiencing the symptoms. Regarding the tune, what I've read so far the position of this differs from dealership to dealership - others here can report on their experience.

Mine takes about 3 minutes with the wheels rolling.

Looks like we didn't pay attention to the section this is posted in "2007-2014 Edge & MKX Generation I ".

The forum search is useless. I used these, but see that they're not in stock on Amazon now. https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Mercedes-Volkswagen-Daytime-Running/dp/B00TQ662OW https://xotictech.com/products/xotic-tech-2-super-bright-100w-high-power-cree-h15-led-bulbs-for-vw-audi-bmw-mercedes-drl-lamps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075QZ1L9V/ref=psdc_15730151_t2_B075JQDMDY

Thanks, but no such option on my 2017 Sport.
