  1. It's the top panel - the PDF is in the post above. I've always had this effect on my Harley after-market BrightAssLight and it catches the attention of drivers behind when touching the brake, and just the other day someone behind me with their gaze down at their phone almost ran into the back of my Sport, and that prompted me to look at these flasher units. This was the only one that had some form of adjustment and the most common one has a series of quick flashes, then slow flashes and then steady, and that it too irritating to me.
  2. I parked it in the garage and before I left for work it was all clear and on arrival at work 50 minutes later, with the temperature change, its still clear - will see what it looks like at lunch time after being in the sun.
  3. Just to add mine to the list - 2017 Sport just short of three years old and 51K miles on the clock and all sections of the tail lights have condensation build-up and its confirmed that my extended warranty does not cover replacement. Will have to wait and see if it clears and if not find out how to cure it.
  4. The top liftgate cover clips off and you'll see the LED connector - the black is ground and violet posititive. Liftgate Top panel removal instructions here: Liftgate RI.pdf
  5. Thanks, Just got a response from the service manager - I'll need to take care of it myself. I took it through the car wash on Saturday, and it remained in my garage until today (Monday) when I drove it to work - its cold today but no rain, just bright sunshine. The car wash uses a high pressure washer as a pre-wash, which they've done for all the years I taken it there - this came to mind and I'm now concerned about that, but don't understand why it hasn't been an issue until now.
  6. Noticed this on my 2017 Sport this morning for the first time. I have the extended Ford warranty that I paid $2K when purchased the car - what is Ford's response been to this, and will mine be covered?
  7. Added LED number plate bulbs and a flasher on the 3rd brake light. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Brake-Attention-Module-Flasher-Adjustable-Rapid-Flash-Steady-On/122163166568?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-LASFIT-T10-192-194-168-158-LED-Interior-Light-Bulb-Error-Free-1-Year-Warranty/272912157470?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Same as the one in this YouTube video https://youtu.be/JwO5LLiJ268
  8. You might want to take another try at it explaining yourself, because I suspect that I'm not the only one here that doesn't understand what you're getting at. What part of that isn't working? Take a screen shot of the place where you turn it on and where you've got to restart it.
  9. I usually buy them on Amazon and have seen them for just over $5 at times, currently $7. The K&N are only a little more on Amazon, which is what I use now. My local Meijer and Walmart stock the Motorcraft FL-2062
  10. The original and all the Motorcraft filters I've bought to date have been without the pre-filter.
  11. That's unusual for a 2020 model.
  12. I have the $30 wired USB one, and find the cord just a little short - can't put my laptop on the passenger seat, but it does work and I don't use it much (ford Edge and Mustang).
  13. Ford still uses a Synthetic Blend, but will do your lube service with Full Synthetic for an additional charge, or you can carry in your own oil and they'll give you about $5 off "The Works" deal.
  14. What Model / Year is yours? I have two Fords in our home, a 2017 and a 2015 and both have their original batteries with no sign of a problem. I frequent this forum and the S550 Mustang forum and have not read what you say you are finding regarding the premature failure of the batteries - please post a link to such threads on here and elsewhere.
  15. I see that the filter FA1912 is available with the pre-filter seen in this one on Amazon. My original did not have the pre-filter, but if there's any real benefit I'll look at buying this version. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009B5THUE/ref=psdc_15727081_t1_B06XY7S3QW#customerReviews
  16. That is what I'm experiencing lately with my 2017 2.7L and I've checked and no codes present, but looking at the below threads it's likely the purge solenoid.
  17. My 2017 Sport is two months shy of 3 yo with 50K miles on the clock and I would definitely buy an Edge again.
  18. My car came with 6 months free Sirius radio and 5 years Sirius Traffic. I did not renew the Sirius radio, and still enjoy the traffic which I find works really well. If I see the slightest build-up of traffic to or from work, or I hear a radio station traffic report of a hold-up, I hit the NAV and it is very quick to re-route me. Contact your dealership and ask what traffic package was included.
  19. We looked into that option and we decided against spending >$2K for her town car (we would go with the NAV option which adds $500).
  20. My wife's car is the S550 2015 3.7L V6 with around 60K miles on the clock and we enjoy it very much. Ours is the base model and we have changed the cloth seats to Catzkin leather, no heated seats, and would like the larger screen - we bought ours used, but if we were looking to buy new I'd pay for the higher options.
  21. Reviews , positive and negative, play a role in my product selection, and its pretty easy to spot fake reviews - your negative review will not factor in my decision making. If you could present something meaningful regarding the product discussed in this thread, I might consider. If leaving negative reviews was illegal, as you imply, places like Amazon would not exist, they'd be fighting lawsuits on behalf of all their customers that left negative reviews. Claiming fear of a lawsuit for anonymous criticism on a public forum, is an indication that you really don't have anything meaningful. Summons issued to Mr.IWRBB residing at location/region "Decline".
