  1. I use an oil extractor similar to yours, but it doesn't work on the 2.7L ecoboost because the tube doesn't go to the bottom of the sump.
  2. Autozone also stocks the Motocraft filter. - https://www.autozone.com/external-engine/oil-filter/motorcraft-oil-filter-fl2062/12446_0_0 Quite straight forward. The cap might be bigger than your standard socket set includes. The small O-ring is a little tough to get off and on, just be patient - I use a cloth or gloves to get traction on the O-ring, and don't struggle as much as he did in the below video.
  3. I order mine from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010QU0SPU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LAXYY02/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. Any chance you could post a link to one of these direct fit aftermarket turbo's.
  5. LOL, not even K&N make such claims.
  6. I get this from that link: Search results for: 'product.aspx' - Your search returned no results.
  7. There's a few items such as the drive shafts, CV joints and brake rotors that are not painted and will always get some surface rust fairly quick, but the other painted suspension parts are quite typical for areas that salt the roads - quite possible that it was driven by the dealer or driven to the dealer on salted roads and never rinsed off. In the photo of the brake rotor it looks like a bolt that's not fully tightened - got another photo of that? It would be very difficult to stand your ground with the dealer on the superficial rust, but would admit, not something I'd like, and many dealerships have similar discounts on vehicles that don't show those signs, and don't believe that's behind the discount you got.
  8. For the TSB, see a few posts before yours - you could tell them that you're experiencing the symptoms. Regarding the tune, what I've read so far the position of this differs from dealership to dealership - others here can report on their experience.
  9. Mine takes about 3 minutes with the wheels rolling.
  10. Looks like we didn't pay attention to the section this is posted in "2007-2014 Edge & MKX Generation I ".
  11. The forum search is useless. I used these, but see that they're not in stock on Amazon now. https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Mercedes-Volkswagen-Daytime-Running/dp/B00TQ662OW https://xotictech.com/products/xotic-tech-2-super-bright-100w-high-power-cree-h15-led-bulbs-for-vw-audi-bmw-mercedes-drl-lamps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075QZ1L9V/ref=psdc_15730151_t2_B075JQDMDY
  12. Thanks, but no such option on my 2017 Sport.

  18. Not sure I'm reading that correctly, but how do I go about changing the service due alert to 50% ?
  19. Does this forum have any limits to the amount of text and images users may use in their signatures? Some have signatures that are more than one page long.
  20. I'm approaching 50K miles and will soon install the new Atturo tires I bought on special a few months back. When I get them installed I will not have them do alignment - the wear on my tires confirms that the alignment is 100% correct and I won't risk changing that.
  21. Mine were on track to get the same mileage as yours, and would have gone with OEM pads when due, BUT the vibration when applying brakes at highway speed forced me to replace rotors, so went with the ones in the below thread.
  22. JLT https://www.jlttruecoldair.com/jlt-3-0-oil-separator-2011-19-f-150-2-7l-3-5l-5-0l-passenger-side/ Let them know that your were referred by this forum for a small discount.
  23. My theory is the thermostat would cause the overheat at speed as well, not only stationary.
  24. Others beat me to it, but if it only overheats when there's very little to no forward speed of the vehicle, then it's most likely the cooling fans which it relies on for the air flow when stationary or very slow moving.
