  1. Do you have record of that? Without that you don't stand a chance of them covering it now.
  2. Why cant you post it here, or in the other thread on the same topic?
  3. Just an update for those that may stumble on this some time in the future. It took three days to clear - leaving home in the morning it was clear, then at lunch time the condensation showed up standing in the warm sunshine - the amount decreased daily until it was gone on the fourth day. I've also gone through the car wash since and no issues. When this happened we had record high temps for winter , 60 ~ 70 degF, freezing temps at night, with higher than normal humidity.
  4. I'd say its fair for them to ask that you allow some time for it to clear on its own, ....mine did. I've read elsewhere that if it establishes a level like yours, its a candidate for change, and if its only one section of the three then it would suggest a leak (not the breather). One thing I've learnt is to ensure that warranty related queries between you and the dealership are in some written form - for that I email the service manager, who has worked well with me. If you have some form of proof that this issue was flagged up prior to the 36K mile, use that and stay on Kia Corp. if the Dealership is still playing hard ball.
  5. The lubricant in the old bearings may be dirty, but doesn't look like they're worn out, at least not in a condition that would cause thumping - maybe the rubber cushions are bad?
  6. As you've guessed after opening the originals, that spacing is normal. For that kind of thing I use a good water proof grease.

  8. Doubt anyone here is going to have anything to offer of value to you.
  9. Have we grown a dislike of the existing thread on this topic? https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/23250-comprehensive-list-of-possible-forscan-mods/
  10. It's the top panel - the PDF is in the post above. I've always had this effect on my Harley after-market BrightAssLight and it catches the attention of drivers behind when touching the brake, and just the other day someone behind me with their gaze down at their phone almost ran into the back of my Sport, and that prompted me to look at these flasher units. This was the only one that had some form of adjustment and the most common one has a series of quick flashes, then slow flashes and then steady, and that it too irritating to me.
  11. I parked it in the garage and before I left for work it was all clear and on arrival at work 50 minutes later, with the temperature change, its still clear - will see what it looks like at lunch time after being in the sun.
  12. Just to add mine to the list - 2017 Sport just short of three years old and 51K miles on the clock and all sections of the tail lights have condensation build-up and its confirmed that my extended warranty does not cover replacement. Will have to wait and see if it clears and if not find out how to cure it.
  13. The top liftgate cover clips off and you'll see the LED connector - the black is ground and violet posititive. Liftgate Top panel removal instructions here: Liftgate RI.pdf
  14. Thanks, Just got a response from the service manager - I'll need to take care of it myself. I took it through the car wash on Saturday, and it remained in my garage until today (Monday) when I drove it to work - its cold today but no rain, just bright sunshine. The car wash uses a high pressure washer as a pre-wash, which they've done for all the years I taken it there - this came to mind and I'm now concerned about that, but don't understand why it hasn't been an issue until now.
  15. Noticed this on my 2017 Sport this morning for the first time. I have the extended Ford warranty that I paid $2K when purchased the car - what is Ford's response been to this, and will mine be covered?
  16. Added LED number plate bulbs and a flasher on the 3rd brake light. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Brake-Attention-Module-Flasher-Adjustable-Rapid-Flash-Steady-On/122163166568?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-LASFIT-T10-192-194-168-158-LED-Interior-Light-Bulb-Error-Free-1-Year-Warranty/272912157470?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 Same as the one in this YouTube video https://youtu.be/JwO5LLiJ268
  17. You might want to take another try at it explaining yourself, because I suspect that I'm not the only one here that doesn't understand what you're getting at. What part of that isn't working? Take a screen shot of the place where you turn it on and where you've got to restart it.
  18. I usually buy them on Amazon and have seen them for just over $5 at times, currently $7. The K&N are only a little more on Amazon, which is what I use now. My local Meijer and Walmart stock the Motorcraft FL-2062
  19. The original and all the Motorcraft filters I've bought to date have been without the pre-filter.
  20. That's unusual for a 2020 model.
