  1. The new NA 2 20 maps need some custom tweaking. On the ride to work it routed me on secondary roads, very curvy and in places only single car width, so in spite of it selected to "quickest route", it added 8 minutes to my work commute. Still haven't found the selection to avoid the secondary roads - suggestions welcome.
  2. Adding a fuel additive to the tank will do no harm, but don't expect it to resolve the evap issue. Why couldn't they have read the codes and replaced the evap valve?
  3. I'm not too bothered about the "radio logos and calm screen" so won't work at that, but let us know how it goes if you do.
  4. Used that new simple method today and it worked great. Took about an hour to download and write to the USB drive, and 25 minutes to update the car. I'm now on Sync 3.4 and maps updated from NA 1 18 to NA 2 20 Have you updated your APIM firmware to get features like radio logos and calm screen? https://community.cyanlabs.net/t/updating-apim-firmware-calibration-files/17
  5. I have an email from my dealership service manager stating that they will scan it for codes and if the evap code is found they will replace the Evap Valve when I go in to get the brake recall done, which I'm still waiting for.
  6. The answer to that question is directly above your post.
  7. I have some advice to offer you - read the forum rules, specifically the part about personal attacks. No, he was not "dictating his beliefs", he was drawing your attention to laws regulating window tinting, and even provided a link. Refrain from personal attacks on this forum.
  8. Congrats, and Welcome. Please consider adding your ride M/Y and location to your profile signature - https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
  9. You might want to try a better image - impossible to read that even on a large monitor. You don't have an EGR. How's the coolant level ? Get the codes read at Autozone and post them here.
  10. Yes, using Forscan - do a search for Forscan and disable fake engine sound.
  11. You didn't mention that. It would most likely be more cost effective to pay a dealership to diagnose it - throwing parts at it typically costs way more in the end.
  12. Have you tried any diagnostics? Read the stored error codes, ..... Autozone will do that free of charge.
  13. So its not as you first stated. I guess they could have interlocked it with the hood open switch, but I guess its like the example of not using the windshield washer with the moon roof open.
  14. I found another gripe for you - hit the windshield washer with the moon roof open. If your wipers are moving every time the ignition is turned on, even when in the parked/stowed position, then there's a fault which will be addressed under warranty.
  15. 2.7L V6 isn't really that "tiny". My 2017 Sport is is basically the same, and if driven gentlemanly is gets good mileage, and if I lead foot it its real heavy on gas, which I think is to be expected.
  16. Have you considered disabling it - a little research and you'll find it has been done by many. Double honk and a few of the other irritations you mention are relatively easy to disable, not by the dashboard menu because some of them are considered safety features.
  17. I'm keen to hear from other ST owners if they experience the same with their wipers - my 2017 Sport does not do that. I can understand it happening if the wipers are moved from the rest position and then ignition is turned on - just something to be aware of and avoid.
  18. No, the plastic body trim - see photos in the below thread.
  19. The conformance to the body trim profile that is unique to the Sport.
  20. @RidinDrty Could you post a link to the ones you bought. I have Ford ones on the front but they don't match the trim contours. I have 20K miles on the Atturo tires and so far happy with them - the only issue is they get flat spots in cold weather which makes them vibrate a little for the first couple of miles. Are you happy with them?

I think they look good and a little large but that should make them more effective. Could you post a link to the ones you bought. 22. CarFax is not a reliable source for maintenance records, and the only way an independent mechanic can confirm the service history is viewing a paper copy of each service, or if was serviced by Kia then they'll have the record, but you don't need to be a mechanic to review a written service record. The servicing of the moonroof isn't always logged. I bought my Edge new, but other used vehicles I've bought, a verifiable service record needs to be produced before money changes hands. Who was the previous owner and who did you buy it from?
