  1. I would think with a good check valve the rail pressure would take longer to decay.
  2. I'm not too familiar with this model, and not sure where the check valve is located. A pressure gauge on the fuel rail would confirm the theory that its the check valve. RockAuto prices aren't too bad. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2010,edge,3.5l+v6,1444714,fuel+&+air,fuel+pump+&+housing+assembly,10147 https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2010,edge,3.5l+v6,1444714,fuel+&+air,fuel+pump,6256
  3. I think their promise is a little ambiguous and can understand them providing "calibrations" to improve or alter the system as it was when they supplied the tune, but if your made a significant mechanical modification that would actually require a new or "modified tune", not a simple calibration. Buying the additional mechanical parts from them they may offer the tune modifications to match at no charge - it would be reasonable for them to assume that they provided that support to the original purchaser of the FMIC. https://unleashedtuning.com/unleashed-custom-tuning-for-edge-st-27l/
  4. This is the thread, the only thread, for your topic.
  5. Could you post a link to what you bought and the statement regarding the lifetime free updates and modifications. https://unleashedtuning.com/unleashed-custom-tuning-for-edge-st-27l/ What model/year do you have? - it would be good if you could add location and vehicle model/year to your profile signature - https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
  6. The less smart dealerships don't know because its not listed as a service activity, because its "lubed for life". If yours's doesn't have the drain plug, do a forum search and participate in one of the many existing threads on the PTU topic, and consider adding the drain. Please add location and your Model/Year to your profile signature - https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
  7. What engine? Consider adding your location and Model/Year to your profile signature - https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
  8. I would get the codes read at Autozone and find an independent service shop that has a good reputation and reviews. Open the oil filler cap and look for any sign of sludge.
  9. What's the mileage? What's the service history, oil change interval, what oil and what oil filter?
  10. Its been a year and I still cant view the Classified section. @Edge Guide @robertlane
  11. Feel free to express your personal opinions, without getting obnoxious and personal.
  12. My engine is the same as the ST and I also do my oil changes at 5K miles using full synthetic. Can't recall what the owners manual says.
  13. I first looked at that site and 4DTech who's price was also $2,300 - I ended up paying $970 less than that, and believe I have a better product.
  14. If you're in Indiana you won't need a passport to travel the London I was referring to - London KY, not London Canada.
  15. I sent you a PM with the contact details of the person that supplied the kit for our Mustang - he confirmed that he can supply what's need for the 2012 Edge. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/sync-3-swap-its-all-in-here.82973/page-142#post-3281455 https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/sync-3-swap-its-all-in-here.82973/page-141#post-3276678
  16. I did that with my wife's 2015 Mustang and expect it can be done with the Edge. When I get home I'll post the contact details of the person I bought the kit from.
  17. Yes, Crawley, East Sussex. when I worked for a large international Power Generating company. Stayed in the Robinson House Apartments, A2219, Crawley RH10 1BJ, United Kingdom.
  18. That's not far from where I worked some time back , Crawley.
  19. BTW, I'm just two hours drive from London.
  20. You're correct to suspect the alternator - the charging voltage should be around 14.2v Don't be tempted to purchase the cheap refurbished ones from Autozone.
  21. It would be great if folks added their location and ride in their signature. https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
  22. My 2017 Sport will lock with the fobs inside, and I assume its the same for all the others. Leave the fobs inside, close the door and touch the top of the door handle and it will lock, or hold two numbers simultaneously on the keypad, then unlock with the keypad. If locked with the fobs inside, the only way to open it is with the keypad or with the key that you can detach from the FOB (prior to them being locked in the vehicle).
  23. Correct, it's inside the tank and part of the fuel pump assy.
  24. I've tried Carplay with my iPhone and it works well, but would prefer the simplicity without connecting my iPhone. The wireless CarPlay would be nice, but the devices are all >$100 and I don't need navigation very often.
