That oil pressure light ON is a bad sign. You've changed the oil twice, that's good, but more important is the service history, and what you're describing could be the evidence of poor maintenance. It may be to late, but the only option is to get an oil pressure gauge on it and confirm where the normal operating pressure is at - a few things could cause low pressure, such as sludge, fouled oil pump suction strainer, bad bearings, .........

You're right, the new replacement rotors did the same and I stuck it out longer than I should have and now have solid high carbon rotors and very happy with them.

What are you using to scan for codes? - I ask because I've Learn'd the hard way that not all OBDII adapters and apps are capable - I use Forscan for that now. You can also use Forscan to display live data, and view the throttle pedal position, throttle demand, and throttle position feedback, and this may shed light on what's wrong, but I'd start with scanning for codes with suitable equipment.

How much did you put in? Safest is to fill until it trickles out the fill hole. There's numerous reports of errors in the listed quantity.

If its displaying signs of low oil pressure only when its warm, then it may be a badly worn engine, but the only way you'll know is by using an oil pressure gauge. What's the service history? Could be the result of poor maintenance.
