  1. Welcome. That doesn't make any sense that it's vibrating and loose now, but will only need replacement in the next couple of years !! - who told you that? There's no one that can predict the mileage to catastrophic failure on a component like that which is showing the signs you describe.
  2. At 104K miles and I was looking to purchase new plugs to install during the next oil change, but found that NGK and RockAuto are listing a different hotter plug my for vehicle. Now listing NGK 90495 LTR6BHX heat range 6 vs the previous listed NGK 95605 LTR7BHX heat range is 7 I wonder what's behind the change to a hotter plug - anyone have some insight? Have had these plugs in for 42K miles and never skipped a beat.
  3. Be aware that when returning a lease, if the inspection reveals any component that does not meet the OEM spec, such as tire rating etc., you'll be billed for new replacements.
  4. As can be seen I did that job more than three years ago and can't recall all the detail, but I wouldn't have forced any component risking damage. Maybe @Haz can post the procedure from the Ford service manual.
  5. It should be the same as my Sport - I did not remove that tube, but would probably do so next time.
  6. Welcome. Photo isn't showing - Best post photos directly to the forum. Please add your Model/Year to your profile signature - https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
  7. Welcome. I doubt that anyone here could offer advice with the limited amount of information provided. Why did the console need replacement - was it a like for like replacement .....?
  8. Sounds like your dealership service manager is trying to pay his boat off faster. Did you check and confirm that all those brake parts were past their useful service life, or just take the word of the service shop? If you did check and confirm the brake parts needed replacement then "I do not drive crazy with my car" doesn't sound correct, and isn't the norm. You could have had the battery tested at AutZone free of charge, but no issue with that if it was replaced prematurely under warranty.
  9. You might have noticed from reading this thread that doing that is not good practice.
  10. Its possible that while doing the brake work the ABS wheel speed sensor was disturbed/damaged but unusual for it to show 4 weeks later. Read the stored error codes and that might give you a better idea what's wrong.
  11. I would also consider this option: https://reman-transmission.com/transmissions/ford/edge/2013/automatic-6-speed-3.5l-awd-id-da8p-7000-ra
  12. That's unfortunate. Was that a Ford dealership? Have you had a discussion with the service manager regarding a discount for the $1,800 spent two weeks prior - they some responsibility regarding assessing the viability of spending that much. Any chance you can post the invoice/job card for the $1,800 work, with your personal details redacted? And the same for the replacement quote.
  13. Please post links to the several recalls that you mention. Brake wear rates differ vastly between owners and that's why all manufacturers new car warranty is so limited when it comes to brakes. My models brakes are the same as yours, and I just recently replaced my rear pads for the first time at 103K miles, and the original rotors are still in use.
  14. They should fit if you keep the offset and bolt pattern the same. https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=265&aspect=40&diameter=21&wheelwidth=9&offset=37&width2=245&aspect2=50&wheel_size=20&wheel_width=9&offset2=37
  15. My 2017 Sport has ACC and Lane Centering, but the Lane Centering is not tied into or linked to the ACC.
  16. Ollie45 you might want to try an OEM Motorcraft product.
  17. We don't know what Model/Year Patrick Kopnicky owns, could be a 15yo vehicle.
  18. What's the warranty section of your owners manual say for the mileage/time limit.
  19. "in the morning it shows that the outside temp is 87C" - get the intake air temperature sensor checked and replaced if needed - this will make cold starts harder. Get the stored error codes read.
  20. Even a cheap OBDII device with Forscan would work.
  21. Mine has done something similar which was caused by the evap valve. What are you using to scan for stored error codes? - I ask because I've found most readers unreliable with my Ford, and now rely on Forscan for that.
  22. Welcome. What Model and Year do you have?
