  1. I got mine at Costco, but there's many good brands available, even Walmart sells some good ones. You should also be able to go up one size.
  2. Welcome. Get your battery tested for free at a place like Autozone. Add your location and vehicle Model/Year to your profile signature - Settings - Ford Edge Forum
  3. The first step would be to bleed the brakes without the engine running i.e. no vacuum for the booster.
  4. @sounduser please add your Location (country) and vehicle Model & Year to profile signature - https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
  5. If you want to get some idea of what happened before going to the dealer, stop in at a place like Autozone and have them read the stored error codes.
  6. I had two of those for my Edge and two for my wife's BMW and after seeing what happened I returned all four to Walmart, even though I agree that the ones for the Ford appear to be more robust, like you have found. Edit: I notice that the OEM Mann filter doesn't have a cage but appears to have a much greater surface area and the old one I pulled was in good shape - that also makes me question the filtration efficiency of the Fram.
  7. We recently acquired a used BMW X5 for my wife (inline 6 with twin-scroll turbo) and the first thing I did was code the auto-stop-start OFF. You could deselect it but by default it would be active again on next start.
  8. I recommend that you use Forscan Lite which should or might work with that OBDII adapter that you have - that way you'll have more confidence that all present codes are displayed.
  9. So to be clear, you had the same code before and after sensor replacement. What are you using to read the codes?
  10. I have two wheels with a little curb rash and I've been searching for a touch-up kit but found nothing. I might try this one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VF9S958/?coliid=I2GYQDO345CYI8&colid=7FQZRUTL8DOG&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1
  11. Take it back to Discount Tire - they can scan the ones they supplied and installed.
  12. If you do a search using this forum's URL in Google, you'll find that every 3rd party non-OEM brand does not work.
  13. I noticed the latest high-grade version of the FRAM oil filters in Walmart so bought a couple for my wife's BMW X5 and my Sport. I installed one of these filters in my wife's X5 and decided to take a look at it after +- 2K miles, and that was enough to return the unused filters to Walmart. The attached photos leave no doubt that the filter media presents a high flow restriction, enough to partially collapse the filter. 14. What brand of module did you use?

  16. Pulled one of the 95605 Ruthenium HX plugs for an assessment - perfect color and gap is a tight 30 thou unchanged from when I installed them 42K miles ago. Will check them again when they have a total of 80K miles on them, and will go with the one stage hotter plug NGK 90495 LTR6BHX when needed.
  17. I see the forums search feature is broken again. Best use the forum URL together with key words in Google. www.fordedgeforum.com ptu fluid change - Google Search
  18. That's corona stain which isn't an issue. 5 Things You Should Know About Spark Plugs - NGK Spark Plugs What is Corona Stain? - NGK Spark Plugs Australia | Iridium Spark Plugs | Glow Plugs | Oxygen Sensors | Ignition Leads | Ignition Coils : NGK Spark Plugs Australia | Iridium Spark Plugs | Glow Plugs | Oxygen Sensors | Ignition Leads | Ignition Coils
  19. I got lucky today - my negligence didn't get me stranded, but it was close. I haven't been checking my emergency wheel pressure and when I needed it today it was at 40 psi, and the second near miss was the fact that only a couple of weeks ago I installed the new lug nuts that the dealership gave me when they damaged the original ones back in 2017. If I still had the old damaged lug nuts on, the emergency wrench would have been useless. On the way home from work on the I71 about 10 miles from home the tire pressure warning came on. I got off at the next exit which wasn't too far and by the time I got to a safe place to fit the emergency spare the TPMS was indicating 5 psi. Got home, plugged the puncture and all is good again. Also, got to use the new great chuck that I installed on my tire inflator.
  20. Have you tried searching the forum for "ptu" ?
  21. Not official BMW OEM. https://www.ebay.com/itm/235369028013
  22. Did you view the link I posted? Where/how did you arrive at a diameter difference of two inches? The diameter difference is 9.1mm i.e. 0.36 inch. Reading at 30mph = 30.37mph
  23. Having just gone from 19" 255mm wide tires to 20" 315mm tires while maintaining the circumference I can confidently say your statement is incorrect. Rim width went from 9" to 11". Using the below web site you can access the overall dimensions changing rim diameter, width and offset. https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=255&aspect=50&diameter=19&wheelwidth=9&offset=37&width2=315&aspect2=35&wheel_size=20&wheel_width=11&offset2=28 I did not use "guesswork".
