  1. What I was saying is that with oil changes you're less likely to have issues - would that be correct, or not?
  2. Change the PTU oil every 30K miles or less and you're unlikely to have issues.
  3. You should take another look where you read that. Mine also has navigation and is build 18025
  4. Thanks, that got me searching for the TSB and found this: Can't find more detail.
  5. Occasionally when after parking and turning off the ignition I hear what sounds like a fan coasting down, with a metallic rattle. It could be one of the cooling fans or one of the two turbo chargers - anyone else hear this, and if it is the turbos coasting down, should I be concerned or does this sound normal? Got 22K miles on it - it can only be heard if your outside the car near the front.
  6. My 2017 Sport, which I guess has the same brake rotors, has 23K miles on the clock now and no issues.
  7. The corrosion on the brake rotors might be effecting the feel, or the brake fluid being hygroscopic has drawn moisture - if the brakes don't settle in soon to what they were before the storage, I'd get them checked out. Check rotors and test the brake fluid.
  8. I'm sure that I've seen a post from you stating that its only the Sport that has the PTU drain plug.
  9. Mine was connected to my home WiFi and it did when in range at home and in the parking lot at work.
  10. I never had any such issues going to 2.3 and neither with 3.0
  11. The only thing I detect different is the WifI notice on every start - I'll just go and disable WiFi in the settings.
  12. There's a thread specifically created for V3.0 http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/24067-official-release-of-v30-for-sync3-has-begun/
  13. I just updated mine using a 4GB USB stick - it took 25 minutes and I just kept the engine idling with my garage door open. I cant detect any changes.
  14. For the 2.3 update I left my engine running - this requirement is crazy, and I'll give it a try with just the ignition on.
  15. I'll give them a try next time - https://www.amazon.com/automotive-FA-21-Carbon-Activated-Premium/dp/B01IW17N3U/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1521401090&sr=1-1&keywords=atp+cabin+air+filter+fa-21
  16. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HFL9SBO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have the OEM on hand and will install it in a few weeks time when I'm at 25K miles/14 months.
  17. Sounds like you're describing my 2017 Sport 2.7L BTW, the 2.7L fuel consumption is much the same as the 3.5L The thing that put me off the 3.5 was the internal water pump and the many reports of the water pump failing and contaminating the engine oil.
  18. Browse this thread for more info on the PTU and RDU. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10914-ptu-leak-failures/page-26
  19. That would be the PTU that enigma-2 is referring to with oil changes every 30K
  20. The Mobil mail in rebates for 2018 has opened - you can buy 5 quarts at Walmart for $13.50 after mail in rebate. 2 per household. https://mobiloil.com/en/promotion/mobil-promotions/17-off-motor-oil-march-may-2018
  21. https://www.costco.com/Mobil-1-Advanced-Full-Synthetic-Motor-Oil-5W-30.product.100169695.html I have enough stock now for 30,000 miles, just over a year for me at the current rate, built up from Costco and Amazon sales, so will only be looking at these specials in about 8 to 10 months from now.
  22. https://www.etis.ford.com/selectedVehicleDetails.do Build Date: 09.01.2017 Bottom of window sticker. 2/17/2017 Door jam 1/17 What's my build date then?
