Same thing happened to me after getting a jump start a few months ago. CDs still stuck in it.. Told that it will cost hundreds to fix..insane, they need to fix this problem. not fair

I have had the same thing happen to me a few months ago when my battery died and I had to get a jump start. My CD player suddenly stopped working since then. Has not worked since. This really sucks, I can't listen to music and all 6 CDs have been stuck in it since then. I inquired about fixing it from a Ford Dealer and the guy basically told me it's not worth fixing I should replace it. This is awful and seems to have happened to a lot of people. I think Ford should provide some sort of compensation for this or check into this issue. It's not fair to not be able to enjoy all the features of your vehicle or having to pay hundreds to fix a CD player because it can't tolerate your vehicle's battery dying. I'm disappointed
