I was driving the interstate in heavy rain when I lost all throttle and hill assist fault came up on the display along with the wrench symbol and engine warning light.
I managed to limp to the side of the road without hitting anyone or being hit, a little scary in that traffic and at that speed. I checked under the hood could not see any thing loose or wet, it started up ok just the check engine light on.
I put it down to the rain getting in to one of the sensors, then it did it again a mile further on, sat on the side of the road again.
I got it started again and contacted the dealer to get it looked at the next day, they replaced the throttle body and motor assembly.
I see this is a common fault in previous years and higher mileage vehicles, but mine has has only done 4,200 miles.
Does any one have any further experience with this fault?
