  1. Well, it's been awhile since i've posted on here. I have a 2008 Edge, Black,... that i have lowered on H&K springs, sitting on 22" black Giovanna wheels. Added fender vents, blacked out the front grill, fog light bezels, rear emblem, and added a exhaust system ending in 4" black exhaust tips. Also added a Weapon-R air intake and full stereo system,.. shwooo, thats a mouth full. Oh and also added some LED lighting to the front. Anyways,.. my edge is currently sitting in the bodyshop, waiting to be repainted.... dark graphite grey in a satin finish. For those of you not sure what a satin finish is,.. it's almost flat. No gloss. Just a tiny bit of a satin sheen to it. Should have it back in about 1 and a half weeks. Pics to follow Then i'm thinking of adding HID's. -Cannon Attached is a current pic of how it sits

  4. I have LED's in the headlights, posted pics somewhere else on here, and also added LED's (in amber) above the fog lights,.. looks really trick!!!! -Cannon
  5. If you were to paint the inside of the headlight black you'd have to make sure not to paint the parts of the chrome that are reflective and help your headlight shine. -Cannon
  6. Anyone have one of these??? I really don't want to pay $50 thru the dealership for a stupid little plastic piece. -Cannon
  7. I have a set of 18" chrome clad wheels, without tires, in excellent cond. But i don't want to mess with shipping. If your in CA, i'd be willing to meet you half way. -Cannon E-mail me if interested: lawdog805@msn.com
  8. gotta pull the front bumper to pull the headlights. Not that hard of a project tho. Opening up the headlighs on the other hand,... ugh!
  9. Anyone have a foglight bezel for sale? I need the passenger side. Just the chrome bezel that is seen from the outside, thats all. -Cannon
  10. I just turn my parking lights on during the day to give it the Audi look. At sunset when it's not dark enough to need your headlights, thats when the LED's look really trick. Plus like i was saying, even at night with the low beams on you can still see them very well. I thought about getting the LED's in Amber, and having them be like a second parking lamp. But went with white instead. I'd like to do Halo eyes, but i'm not messing with baking them a second time. Although it would probably be easier now since they are resealed with a different glue that isn't as hard to work with.
  11. well it's actually not Thaaaaat hard. Pulling the front bumper is a piece of cake, just unscrew everything that needs to be unscrewed, then pull, and taddaaaaa! Off comes the bumper. Now to get the grill off, you just have to unscrew a shit load more, thats all.
  12. Ya i hope they don't go bad either. I don't think they will tho. I bought them thru www.BL-LED.com.au Great company to deal with.
  13. You always crack me up Lex. Your a car nut like me, and always have a million questions, LOL. I baked the headlights... normal headlights (chevy, mazda, etc..) when ya bake them, the glue that seals the headlight softens up, and you pry the headlight open. Ford uses some stupid ass glue that is impossible to break apart. I baked them over and over and at higher temps, and it was still a nightmare. The black plastic housing is all messed up where it meets the front headlight cover, but i was able to get them all sealed up again and back together. From the outside, they look good, but if you pull the headlight, it looks like a blind monkey did the install. I resealed them with clear RTV sealant. I used good old crazy glue to glue the LED to the front chrome housing. I then drilled a tiny hole in the chrome divider bar and ran the wiring thru that, and out one of the rubber boots that for the headlight bulbs. I then just spliced them into the parking lights (they do not blink when my turn signals are on either.). And thats it. Like i said,.. it was a major pain in my butt, and if i would have known how hard it would have been to get the Ford glue to soften, i wouldn't have done it. But it was sorta like vomiting,... once i started i couldn't stop. -Cannon
  14. You'll have to pull the front bumper off to get that grill off. It's a PITA
  15. www.BL-LED.com.au Great guys to deal with. I HIGHLY recommend them! -Cannon
  16. So, bought some flexible, sealed, waterproof LED lights, and installed them inside of my Edge headlights to give it that Audi look that we all love so much (well atleast i love...). The pictures really do not do them justice. I think they look really trick. When the headlights are on, they are still plenty visible, since the low beams sit on top, and the LED's are at the bottom. Anyways,.. hope you all like. -Cannon P.s. The install was a NIGHTMARE, and i would not recommend anyone try this. Had i know what a PITA this would have been, i wouldn't have started it. The glue that Ford uses to seal the headlights , must be the same glue that holds the Empire State Building together.
  17. All i have left is the wheels. no tires. Sorry for the late reply. -Cannon
  18. I have stock 18" chrome clad wheels for sale if your interested? They are in excellent condition. No tires tho. -Cannon PM if your interested. I'm in CA too, so we could maybe meet half way.
  19. Mine have been painted for awhile. They will chip over time tho. This last time i just left them on the vehicle. Masking taped them off, and repainted them still on the vehicle... no problems. -Cannon
  20. A company called 3D Carbon makes them. They're not too expensive, and you'll have to have them painted. The toughest part about the whole install, is getting enough guts to cut a hole into your fender. Thanks for the compliments! -Cannon
  21. Guys,.. we're the minority. Most people do not buy Ford Edge's to trick them out or to do anything custom to them, hence the reason there isn't crap for aftermarket parts. I don't know about you, but when i see another Ford Edge on the road, it's usually being driven by some old lady, or ,.. well... thats pretty much it. I've seen one tricked out Edge on the road, and of course i wasn't driving my Edge at the time to be able to say hi. Thats just my 2 cents worth on the topic,... or off the topic. -Cannon
  22. They look good. I'd rather see them in 22"s and your Edge lowered, but they look a ton better than stock. Good Job! -Cannon
