New Edge Sport. mods where to start?
Loosecannon replied to Yamifanatic's topic in Accessories & Modifications
I baked my headlights off of my 2008 Edge, and it was a NIGHTMARE!!!! Apparently, Ford uses the same glue that NASA uses on the space shuttle, to hold their headlights together. NOT like other manufacturers glue!!!. Do a search on the net and you'll see what i mean. Anyways, i pulled it off,.. installed LED's (like the Audi's),.. then had the LED's burn out because they are very temp. sensitive. Long story short, i did it, it is possible, but the end result was ugly, and ALOT of RTV sealant to get it back together. -Cannon -
Replacing the ugly BLUE FORD EMBLEM

Hard to see, but my emblems are currently wrapped in Carbon Fiber, and the word, "Murdered" is in shiny black over that. Cannon -

Ya thats stupid high. My guys in town did it for like $120. Did it in flat black (as you can see my gallery) and i even went back and they gave me a two foot by two foot spare piece. I had one spot where a rock musta hit it, and put a pretty good size chip in the vinyl, and you could see the chrome underneath. I just cut that little area out in the shape of a square and recut a new little square out of the spare material they gave me, and just stuck it on over the bad spot. Unless your face is literally inches from my grill, you can't tell i patched it. -Cannon
