  1. I agree. Plastidip is the quintessential "looks good from far, but far from good". It is a cheap alternative to get a temporary look though, I've just never thought it was a good product (especially when I've seen it applied in person).
  2. How many miles are you typically putting on in a year? Might be worth it to buy new with an extended warranty if you drive a lot. I don't think you have too much to be concerned about with this higher mileage 2015 but if you do put the miles on quickly, you will just as quickly be out of warranty.
  3. Personally I wouldn't commit to any new or used vehicle if I didn't know what or where my job was bringing me.
  4. They will be different since the old cold weather package came with the all-weather mats and these liners say new for 2017. I also noticed the Sport says "deluxe carpeted floor mats". Are these any different from the ones found on all models now? Didn't realize that our current mats were "deluxe" lol

  6. I wonder when the new floor liners will be available to order through the dealers?
  7. I agree. I really like the idea of AppLink. It basically can give the functionality of your smartphone interface, but with the automakers GUI maintained (I hate that Carplay and AA all look the same in every vehicle - takes away from the uniqueness of each vehicles infotainment system).
  8. I'll be picking my '16 Sport up in just a few weeks and would like to hear what fuel type everyone is using (pros/cons). Almost every car I've owned in the past 15 years has required premium so it would very nice to finally use regular with little to not compromise (although I'm thinking there will be). Thanks!
  9. That's great to hear! Is she using regular or premium fuel?
  10. The one positive in Canada with leasing is that if you are ever in an accident, you don't have to worry about the diminished value (we don't have GAP insurance here or the ability to file a diminished value claim with the insurer). I learned that the hard way when someone rear ended my Subaru BRZ, which was financed. My only recourse would have been to sue the person but that would have been timely, costly, and not guaranteed.
  11. Exactly what I am doing as well. This is my first domestic brand vehicle, and first Ford...and first SUV! Leasing made sense for me. If I end up hating it (getting delivery of a 2016 Sport AWD at the end of the month) I'll just count down the weeks until the lease is up and get chalk it up to a lesson learned. Although I highly doubt I'll feel this way.
