  1. Mine is a definite rattle though in a specific spot. Something is for sure loose.
  2. Are you in the US or Canada? In the US you have the option to disable your DRL in the left menu on your gauges. If you're in Canada DRL are mandatory so that function is not available. Because our projectors act as both the low beam and DRL, you will need capacitors to prevent flickering and to prevent the pulse voltage which will make your DRL not work. The capacitors make your computer believe there is a halogen bulb in the housing and won't cut off power.
  3. Never although I do use sport mode fairly often to make it more...sporty. I don't find the paddles add anything more to the experience. Too big of a delay in up/down shifts to make it fun.
  4. I just switched mine to HIDs as well. It's a Morimoto 6k kit and I used the halogen projectors. Had to add capacitors because of the day time running lights in Canada. I drove in front of my car and did a couple of oncoming runs using my wife's car, and they are not blinding at all (part of the reason I went with 6k versus the 4300k the OEM ones are. Very happy with the results!
  5. 21's are the largest OEM option for the gen 2. Anyhow, it seems strange since the larger tires have a smaller sidewall. In my experience any car I've had with a lower profile tire (less sidewall), usually faired better when punctured since it was almost always in the tread. Maybe it was just luck on my part? Lol
  6. My vista roof creaks as well just above the passenger side b-pillar. Definitely worse with the cold. I'll have to bring it in with my ever growing laundry list of items Ford needs to fix.
  7. It's only supposed to have low, medium and high.
  8. And the close up's of the turn signal and wiper stalks lol.
  9. Congrats on a great deal! The dealer sure takes some uh odd pictures for their ad. lol
  10. Love the color! Congrats and welcome to the forum.
  11. Christ I didn't realize how bad the lights were until the other night I was coming home from work and it was raining hard and dark. I couldn't see anything! Now I know what everyone is taking about. They look plenty bright when you're parked and look at them from the outside but wow the ground coverage is brutal.
  12. Nooo Canadian Tire is the worst place ever. Avoid at all costs. Agreed use Tirerack as a reference and then head to a local tire shop. They will most likely have comparable packages.
  13. A little off topic but I originally thought the "kick to lift" option was gimmicky, but it's now become something I use several times a day! It would honestly be hard to go without on future vehicles!
  14. Thanks guys! I was very happy with them, considering winter wheels are on in my region for 5 months of the year I wanted something that I wouldn't cringe at every time I looked at the car lol.
  15. Not bad looking in my opinion for a winter rim. Haven't had any snow yet but these tires are amazing on dry roads (which is exactly what I was looking for). 19" RTX Envy rims on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT (245/55R19).
  16. All it will take is one or two companies to cater to this fairly niche market. You're not going to get the mass appeal like the Mustang or other enthusiast vehicles gets (but that's not necessarily a bad thing).
  17. Happened to me as well once before. I had to restart the car and it worked again. Probably a software glitch with Sync 3 rather than a hardware issue with the camera.
  18. Strange it shows the old style on the Ford Canada site still but I do see them on the US site. Not bad but I'll just stick with my Weathertech's.
  19. I don't know if mine is allowing air in or if I just expected the amount of wind noise at highway speeds to be less. With the radio obviously it's not an issue but when I turn it off all I hear is wind gushing past the doors. Maybe it's because the cabin in otherwise very quiet?
  20. I still want to know what these new all weather floor liners are going to look like.
  21. Are the winter tires mounted on rims or did they just hand you the tires? If they gave you an 18" winter wheel package (I.e. steel/aluminum rims with a winter tire) you will be fine!
  22. I drove about 12 miles once after it showed zero. Had to get to my preferred gas station lol.
