  1. Likes: Comfort Quiet cabin Great Infotainment system Lot of room compared to my Nissan Rogue Decent power from a 4 cylinder Dislikes: Crappy headlights No easy way to mount fog/driving lights That is really about it, but granted I am on my second day of ownership, so the honeymoon is still underway....
  2. You know, the guy that invented the pet rock made a million dollars.
  3. I plugged a USB flash drive into my car, and I got a message that says "USB requires too much power, please remove". I had a different USB flash drive that worked just fine. Any idea why I am getting this message?
  4. Or they need a way to switch AA on and off, so to speak. Even if I exit out of AA, all voice commands go to AA vis Sync.
  5. Yep, and I am not a fan of that setup. Hopefully it gets better with future updates.
  6. I have 2.0. My issue with AA is any time it is enabled, the voice commands are for AA, not for the vehicle. As in, if I want to change the temp, or switch audio sources, it won't work.
  7. If someone could come out with a bracket like that, or some sort of mounting system for lights below the grill, they could make millions of dollars. Maybe even billions.
  8. I am selling my original all weather floor mats, front seats only, from my brand new 2016 Edge. The car has less than 200 miles on it, so these mats are pretty much brand new. $50 plus $10 shipping anywhere in the lower 48.
  9. Just took delivery of a 2016 Edge. Love it, but the headlights suck. Has anyone installed some aftermarket lights to improve things? From what I can see, it would be hard to mount anything to the front without some pretty extensive modifications, everything that looks like it would be a nice surface to mount something to is just plastic without any structure to it.
  10. The Edge I just bought has Android Auto. I prefer using Sync, at least so far.
  11. Pretty good financing offers going on right now, but dealers seem not to be willing to budge on prices very much. Has anyone purchased an Edge over the past few weeks?
  12. Jesus, that isn't much of a negotiation! Truecar has that it $35500.
  13. Nope, Truecar lets you add everything on, at least when using the consumer reports portal. If I was smart, I'd post the PDF of the pricing here, but I'm not smart. I'm hoping the recent poor car sales report will help me negotiate, and hopefully the car I have my eye on will still be around at the end of the month.
  14. So not taking a trade into account, what is the "best deal" one can expect to get? I don't trust invoice prices printed on the internet, dealers would have a fit if the actual price they were paying was posted for everyone to see. The invoice price for the car I want is $40131, but the truecar price is something around $38k. There is no way a dealer would take a $2k loss on a vehicle via truecar.
  15. That is a great looking car, and in great condition. Good luck!
  16. Any guesses as to what the September incentives for the Edge might be?
  17. If you're really worried about the turbo failing at 150k miles, then you should just self insure. Example, lets say a turbo replacement will cost $5k, and you think you'll hit 150k miles in 10 years. That is 120 months, so put 42 dollars a month aside, and when you hit 150k, you'll have the cash on hand to replace the turbo. If you don't need the replacement, and you buy a new car, there is $5k you can use for a down payment.
