I'mI just graduated from my 300,000 mile 2008 Edge SEL to a 2022 Titanium w/30K miles. A first for me having a display screen, let alone a tablet sized screen! But I'm chasing my tail on how/where to mount my phone. In my '08 I used a stick on magnetic mount, and it was very convenient. I realize that I do have the tablet-sized display screen with Android Auto, but I just like to have my actual device within easy reach. I would love to see photos of where you mounted your mobile devices. I'm not a fan of the vent louver mounts or mounts that put the phone in front of the vent though.
