I don’t have a Gen 1 Edge but this one works very well. It’s heavy duty, suctions to the windshield, with a nice long, adjustable arm and in 18 months it’s never fallen off.

I’ve been running this tune for over 60k miles and not one problem with it. I’m sorry this happened to you.
Does ZFG, or any other tuner, cover engine repairs should something like this happen? Could any other mods you (or perhaps the previous owner, if pre-owned) did contribute to an over boost condition?
I’ve got nearly 50k miles on my Edge with the LMS tune. Not only is it amazing, and the powertrain just fine, I have had zero problems with reliability.
Call them. They have many different tunes available from 93 Performance with hard shifts all the way down to towing tunes. You won’t be disappointed.
Hi, I saw in one of your posts you plastidipped parts of your car. Im currently looking into doing the same for my rims, emblems and grill. I was wondering how it worked out for you and if you were satisfied with it.
The K&N is washable and reusable...for me it’s worth that. Some research indicates these type of filters, with the less restrictive flow, allow more contaminants into the engine.
That said, (and admittedly, I’m biased) the K&N adds like 50bhp...I’d go with that one. ???
I guess I’d argue if the issue is a spring that is not properly seated, the installation was bad.
Think about springs like this - when you buy a new car, do you have to take it to get an alignment 100 miles after you’ve driven it off the lot?
To the OP - the ride quality is negligibly less than stock. On ramps and twisties will be a helluva lot more fun with the springs versus without.
It ‘settles’ as soon as the weight of the vehicle is on the springs. I had the springs installed 2 years ago and an alignment done at the time of install. I have had no problems whatsoever.
