2014 Ford Edge with the 3.5L. I had an oil change and noticed a smell of burning oil. I figured they spilt some oil on the exhaust and it would burn away. Well it's been a week and I noticed what maybe some oils spots on top of the hood (it's a white hood) and when I raise the hood the front hood seal is oily. Seems to still be a slight hint of smell. Looking at the engine from above I don't see any leaks. Valve covers look fine. Where should I look from here? It's hard to see as compact as it is under there.

Haven't had this 2010 edge though winter yet. I live in the country. I was looking it over the other day and was wondering what am I supposed to hook to pull it out when my wife puts it in a snow drift this winter.

Was driving through the dealer lot the other day in our Escape, and she says that looks pretty. I got out and looked, it was a 2010 with only 38,000 miles on it. I called up the dealer the next day and brought it home that night for a test drive. '08 Escape had 116,000 miles on it and was starting to show signs of rust. Made a heck of a trade on it. An older local couple owned the Edge and they didn't drive much. Only problem with it was a chip in the windshield, which dealer is fixing today. And the FM radio is staticy. I told the dealer and they looked it over in the shop, but it worked there, We left and it started again. He said they'll look into it since we made the deal with a fixed glass and working radio. It's got sync and navigation, almost as the antennae wire is loose or something.

Just traded my 2008 Escape with 116,000 miles on it for a 2010 Edge Limited with 38,000 miles on it. It's white with the sparkley's in it, I'd get a pic but the wife won't keep it home long enough LOL.
