  1. sorry...i should be more specific..... i meant the side rails that many of the Edge's come with from the factory. I currently have nothing on my roof and want to get the entire system including the rails and the crossbars.
  2. How hard are these to install if i buy them from the dealer?
  3. Ok so I have searched and still really havent found a straight answer (people tend to stray off topics here, but whatever). I have 2007 Edge SE. I want to get the newer OEM Navigation with the chrome knobs. I dont have sync...so thats really not an issue (i think). Are these truly plug and play or will I have to get it programmed. Also does it matter if its an audiophile unit or sync unit or whatever unit since I have none of that already in my car?? Iv'e heard about part numbers and sync this and sirius that. So i am a little confused. Basically....I would love the best advise to get the new 2008 Navigation into my 2007 SE Edge with no bells and whistles (ie sync or sirius). Now with regard to my ipod. What interface do you all think is the most "user friendly" with the navigation unit. What I mean is....How well do the on screen functions work? I used to have an Avic z1 in my f150 and i liked the ipod interface......I am just wondering if we are able to operate the ipod as easy with our OEM navs. Thanks all.....
  4. $199 in Orange County, CA. Perfect condition....15k miles...no pressure sensors. Pick up or meet only.
  5. I have an SE model and have access to a SEL Cluster and the dash switch..... my question is: if I install both of these, will I gain the features of the SEL like the miles to empty, compass, etc, etc??? Thanks in advance.
  6. no you cannot. there are 2 rectangular harnesses that go into the rear of the dual electric system. The manual a/c system has a single circular harness that goes into the rear.
  7. I have an SE model and was a little bummed that Ford didn't put painted door handles on this model. Especially when ALOT of other car companies have them on sub $20k vehicles in their line-up.....but whatever.....that's a different topic altogether. Anyways, I purchased some plastic chrome handle covers on ebay intending to have them professionally painted...but when they arrived, I noticed that they fit for the most part, but there was a decent amount of area of the existing handles still showing towards the edges. Does anyone have any experience with these or know of a place to buy a better fitting set....if possible. thanks in advance.
  8. disregard...i just looked SEM up on google. Guess its a better paint for the car interior application...i am assuming of course.
  9. Do any of you have any info or guidance on how to effectively and correctly paint the dash. I am going to go for a Matte Black or a really dark grey. I know that the dash is factory painted and not molded in the color....so in theory, I should be able to do this. Basically, what kind of prep would I do and what kind of paint should I use? I want to get it as close to the 2008's darker colored dashboard as possible. thanks!!!
  10. Please email me or call me if you want to sell or know someone who wants to sell them...thanks!!! Will 949.444.1660 wthrower@yahoo.com

  12. Hey Guys..and Gals. First post. Anyways...I would love to get my grille painted Matte or Flat Black. I am planning on either 20 or 22 inch American Racing Marin wheels in Matte Black...so i think this will look pretty sweet on a Carbon Edge. My question is: I live in Socal...so is there a shop/price that any of you can recommend to complete this with paint or powdercoating? and Is it possible to do it yourself with paints from Lowes or Home Depot. And how could this be completed to ensure the most durable finish? I searched this post, but need further assistance. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?sho...rille&st=20 Here are some pics below of what I like. Thanks in advance!!!!
