  1. Just FYI for future inquires and searches: the ignition cylinder was the culprit. It detected a key at all times. $366 at the local stealership.
  2. Hey, I have two issues, unknown if they are related. The first one is whenever the driver's door is open it dings as if a key is still in the ignition, or the lights were left on. I went up and down the car and everything is off. The second one is the key sometimes doesn't want to go into the ignition. It's like it's locked out, and you have to play with it to get it to go in. Are any of these known issues? Any help would be great. Thanks Chris
  3. I thought that too, but they aren't covers. They're the actual upholstery attached to the foam, and they have the same exact same pattern as the leather seats in the upper model. Unless someone completely swapped the seats from an upper model, or had these reupholstered. But this was originally a lease vehicle, then I purchased it. I doubt any mods were done. I think it may have been a special order or something? Either way, I certainly enjoy it.
  4. Thanks, you really have to push through the leather to hit the latch. What an awful design. At least it works! Thanks
  5. Hello All, I'm a new Edge owner. I just bought a 2013 SE with 44,000 miles. Other than the leather seats, it's pretty basic. Seems to ride very nice. However, I'm stumped and feel ignorant. How in the world do you fold the rear armrest down!? The manual pictures a latch just below the middle headrest, however there's no latch on mine. I can place my hand where the latch should be and feel a slight hollow area where it should be. I then thought that mine didn't come with it as an option, until I felt around the crevices and can feel the hard plastic where the cup holder should be. Also, ford list it as a standard option. Any ideas on how to fold it down? Google/Forum searches have failed me. Thanks in advance, Chris
