Will have to pass on this one, the size is too big for my sedan. The scorpions were just over $1300, usd -

If you said wheels plus $ I could think about it, 1 to 1 I would certainly be in the negative and we don't want that. -

I'm in NY so short delivery, I am using the same tires on my new car, they are excellent. 265/40/21 stock size.

I have a set of 21" MKX wheels with Pirelli Winter Scorpions for sale. I just test fitted them to the Edge, see photo.
-
I got the same 6 speed in my Continental that I have in the Edge (I think) and the Edge when tuned was a much more willing dancer. Comparing tuned to tuned by Livernois. Continental just feels lazy with the shifts even when the Mustang is not catching up. So yea... Could be worse.

Akirby, u noticed you seem to be very bothered by an opinion of one person, more so than other members. What if you leave em alone and see if complaints from other people crop up? Nick has fair points and is comparing hard things, he's not saying ST feels like sh1t, he's comparing real hard items that anyone can feel and touch and see. Between the 3 of us we manage very large groups of Edge owners, we should get along a little better. Let's stick to facts and not words like "hate". ST owners can perfectly well defend themselves if they want to, or choose to ignore Nick's experience completely.

Rick, Turn traction control off, point car straight, hit brake, hit gas, wait 1 second and release brake. That should be the equivalent of waking up.
-
Ah, quality assurance at its finest. At least they let you know. Also, ask em for 87, 91, race tune or tow for same. Cost is the same and you won't have to worry about octane.
-
Did they only provide a single tune? Normally you have a choice of 4, I would load a different one. Sounds like they uploaded the wrong file.
-
Could be a matter of reflash, try it again and see if car throws a code without driving it.
-
Tuned in.
-
I appreciate the compliment. My car doesn't have very many mods so I think you are giving me too much credit. Power: tune and KN drop in filter Power stability : 160 tstat Power to the ground : H&R springs, rear motor mount, summer tires Weight: add baby car seat, subtract stock heavy wheels, take out spare, add light weight 20s Traction: 245 wide summer tires Race weight: around 4375lb But if not speed, were you going to get the RS to show off? The badge is available on eBay and can be attached to any car. As far as price, I have seen 50k 2018s sell for 40k so the difference is more than $1500. I was holding out for the ST but they missed every promised deadline. On the bright side the new car makes boost just as well.
-
Sure, break the 12s and we can talk. I assume a stock RS won't have any issues since the ST was just a little slower than the Sport.
-
Some of us think the ST price doesn't justify ST performance. RS would be a stretch and not on this platform. If they go with RWD platform like the Explorer ST that might be interesting. That's where the 3.0 is at and it's definitely got RS power.
-
Continental up charge for 3.0 was over $3600 which included Focus RS rear awd
-
Until then I can be the only one playing with a 3.0.
-
If you like to test performance, Dragy is a good and accurate tool outside the track. Going from 101mph to 106mph is huge. The numbers are going against magazine tests that show them both doing under 98mph, but hey, you never know.

Didn't notice any winter issues. In the summer v3 seems to be overcooked, in my opinion. Vehicle would refuse going into 4th or 5th gear on its own, I had to paddle shift it up. Livernois said add transmission fluid and over fill, tested that theory by raising octane and the issue was gone! Then I raised tune to race level and issue was back. In my mind, it's the tune. So yea... Livernois is not always the best against it self but it's the best overall for the Edge as far as I know. GT500R with whom I race more than a few times per year tried Livernois, Unleashed, S*I and others, I saw his results and had something to compare to based on his experiences. He tests his stuff very thoroughly and doesn't go easy on me, I think I beat him maybe 3 times out of over a dozen ?
