If you want to know how fast 3.0 can go with some weights attached I'm your guy ?
-
Splash a gallon or 2 of e85 per tank, I bet the car will get a lot more consistent.
-
Great time, I think you should get a 160 tstat to go with LMS tune to preserve consistency between runs. Definitely get the E30 tune as well.
-
Its the rear seat and the trunk where the difference is major. Pretty much everyone has figured out the front seat.
-
Comparing ST to a Q5 is silly, Audi is a much smaller vehicle, the end.
-
I would say the LMS tuned ST will look like it's towing a boat next to a tuned Sport.
-
Sounds a lot like a tuned Continental to me, without the noise mods. 525hp/600 tq on e30 assuming 25% drive train loss.

3.0 is indeed a bigger version of the 2.7 but it's also made of aluminum, a lighter block. Car and Driver lists a bit of info on it . "Related to the 2.7-liter EcoBoost turbo V-6 used in the 2017 Ford Fusion Sport, this V-6 (labeled 3.0 GTDI, as Lincoln doesn’t say “EcoBoost”) gains displacement via an increase in cylinder bore from 83.0 millimeters to 85.3 and a stroke lengthened by 3.0 millimeters to 86.0. Also, whereas the 2.7’s block is cast iron, the Lincoln’s 3.0 is aluminum." https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a15099828/2017-lincoln-mkz-30t-awd-test-review/

Power info on the 3.0 420 all wheel HP, 480 all wheel torque. With a 25% awd loss that equates to... 525hp and 600 tq On E30 93 has Continental at 350/420 to all wheels. MKZ 3.0 is 390hp to all wheels Livernois tuned and they don't have e30 yet. My Conti spent 1 month at LMS as the first fully tuned 3.0; I got 93, e30, race 100 tunes. Plan to run low 12s in the next few weeks as the Temps warm up and snow stops falling.

Sounds like "the club" is about to make a come back. It's simple and computer proof.
-
Sport v3 was good for a 12.9 on 93...that took bout 2.5 years
-
If you mean moving the needle faster than the video above... I been waiting a long time to see that.

93 v3 runs hot, driven in the 50s I never had issues. Hit it in the 80s and you are screwed towards end of run, I had car get stuck in gear for like 3 seconds and had to manually shift. Raising octane fixed the issue. Upped tune to race and it bogged down again, back to 93 and fine. My guess is it's the gas, LMS v3 tunes produce crazy power and will dial back if octane isn't there. Safety and all. They are equally happy to run on race gas.

What bothers me is that ST Nation has posts on it from like years ago...

Jack points and jack stand placements?
037 replied to Vortechtral's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
2015+ vehicles have a clear jack point indicator not too far from the wheels on the pinch weld. I recommend the magnetic pucks as one of my points was bent out of shape through use of regular jacks. -

Might be worth getting the Continental DWS06, fit Sport and ST, last over 30k. No reason to get winter specific tires and drive them all year.
-
I have a set of winter scorpions in 21" on MKX wheels for sale

Looks like your first repair is lined up with a falling plate bracket, congrats on the Edge!
