Official welcome to 12 second club. Warmed up... Ha, he needs it cold to see what happens to tires in the 40s, that's where I was doing my best "work"
-

Make sure to add a few custom points for Dragy as it doesn't break down increments unless you go like half mile. Something like 20 to 40, 50 to 80, 50 to 100.
-
Got video? Would be curious at what point you stopped spinning
-
Yes, go fast enough and there is enough air under hood to move around and be ingested, but it's the first 60mpg where it will be absolutely disgusting. Stop the car and Temps sky rocket. Not really sure what the test accomplishes with no box at all, there is no design that works like that so why test? Also, not sure how accurate that sensor is just hanging out there. In my head the empty box scenario would provide better data considering how good the box is otherwise. Maybe even heat wrap the box to insulate from engine...
-
I think more apples to apples was to use your setup but keep the box and close it, screen instead of filter to measure filter restriction without heating things up.
-
I'm surprised the engine cover is still on. I raced without it and felt car liked it that way better. Saves weight if nothing else. Once you guys have a 2.7 intake my 3.0 could use a little sound beyond battery operated high speed screw driver.

It took a lot of whining from myself and couple dozen people in my Facebook group to help kick LMS from v2 to v3 tune in the Sport, this was about 2 years into the cycle.
-
Any chance we can get some dragy numbers like 20-40 graph or 40-100?
-
Did you guys get a Dragy to measure those street runs? 20-100 looks real quick, any concerns revving that high?
-
I was just saying you had a very muted reaction to what in my experience was a huge deal. Don't lose any sleep over my comment, it's not meant to offend.
-
My vote is for Sport if you want reliable power, Livernois will let you have it.
-
A bit boring reading how the tune "does" make a difference. In my experience v3 took a 14 second car and made it a 12 second car. I would say crazy unbelievable improvement is the word. That's on 93 octane.
-
With summer tires and springs my Sporty did not have any issues. You can have the RS badge once straight line is figured out, till then, the king is here ?
-
Till then, enjoy my version of Edge RS

Needs quad exhaust... I like the idea of Mustang power with 4 doors, means we finally. Get some mods.
-
It's not obvious from your posts your technical level. The 3.0 MKZ is a very quick car to begin with, are all your measurements coming from the butt dyno? Did you have traction off, brake torque, what fuel? I am currently driving a Livernois tuned Continental 3.0, same engine and transmission as MKZ and the Mustangs I beat have definitely noticed the difference. See example from a 6.4L Charger Scat Pack.
-
Curious to see some track data or from Dragy. I have less confidence in the butt dyno feeling the difference of 22 revisions. Do please join us on Facebook (group), the fastest MKZ 3.0 today is tuned by Livernois so I doubt their tune is inferior, I do keep an open mind ofcourse, let's see some results!
-
I hear the horn on the ST is a good bit more quiet VS the Sport.
-
Congrats. Don't waste $ on IC unless you plan to tune it. Tstat a better investment but that requires a tune.
-
That's a very impressive slip for 91 with such a high DA, looking forward to seeing mid 12s from you! Also... Pick a driver and have em run the car for you, we won't judge, feel better!

*UPDATED Livernois Tune for Edge Sport*
037 replied to always on edge's topic in Accessories & Modifications
A word of advice for LMS v3 users in hot climates... Use high octane. On the track in my experience the car would lose power around 90s due to over heating. Might want to ask them for their v2 tune and compare side by side as that tune did not have heat issues as it was more conservative. -
I made a mention, just in case they have a forum acct.
