  1. They certainly know about the website since I keep linking to it. As far as FB, about 98‰ of the group members don't have their privacy settings set on their profile. Can't blame Facebook for their own omission, the option is there.
  2. Waiting for some new records. It's a shame you guys aren't in the Facebook group to share the journey. I copy/paste stuff sometime to keep em in the loop.
  3. Mikula, thermostat is the easiest way not to lose 2 tenths every run or ever need to cool down. As long as it's tuned for you need nothing else. Ms109 is the name of the 105 tune, it was sent to me but didn't add it to the LMs tuner yet. Or maybe it's like the big foot :-)
  4. In my mind there is only the 2.7 v6, 3.5 was not even in the running.
  5. V6 is a lot more fun and you will work a lot less. Also, if you ever need another 100 hp it's $620 away.

  7. See my signature for what LMs can do for you. I'm not affiliated, just my personal experience.
  8. Livernois gives you over 100 awhp, it is worth borrowing a PC for. On your first go request all the tunes you need, they load into the hand held tuner and you can go back to your Mac. Ex: 87, 93, 100, ms109, tow. You pick 4 plus stock tune. Not much in terms of go fast bits, drop in panel filter, thermostat for consistency. Rear engine mount to help with wheel hop. Stock Pirellis are trash, summer tires change it into a different handling vehicle.
  9. Makes the entire vehicle vibrate at idle. GT500R has the same one and says his doesn't do that. It was even worse on 21s. I didn't check as closely as you guys to see if the bolts were straight or not...
  10. Looks a lot like the mount I have. NVH went up quite a bit, mainly the V part. It did drop my 60ft down but it probably won't be used if I buy another Edge.
  11. Howie, join us on FB, we got lots of info.
  12. I stepped on it once mid turn while doing a quick right left through a light on damp road. Rear went wide for a second and stability fixed it. Without summer tires i bet the rear would have kept going.
  13. Xtra, you are missing wheels/tires. I already have RMM and I bet my traction issues are nothing compared to what you will have if you hit 500s
  14. Didn't really experience any handling issues so far. I am lowered and on summer tires. I don't really race it too much around town but haven't reached a speed I was uncomfortable with in a turn.
  15. I heard his new wheels looked good.
  16. Mikula, a lot of my mods are traction related. I also launch differently from the other guys. We discussed it and they chose to do what they wanted to do knowing exactly what I was doing. To your point, I am not sure at what rpm I launch as I just feel it out and step on it progressively from first yellow to third. I don't know what rpm I launch at. As far as my Edge being a unicorn, that's not the case. I took it out to track with Chris when I just began racing and I lost 100% of the time. In fact, I lost pretty much every single race against Chris head to head. Different tunes, wheels, fuel. There are no secrets here. There is no simple explanation for everything.
  17. Mikula, according to your math the 2 other people racing with me on the same day would have been in the 12s too, except they weren't. Sounded good in theory, did not work out in practice though. One of the guys was running the same exact tune and fuel setup too.
  18. Sounds about right, just add driver weight, another couple hundred.
  19. No wonder you are looking at upgraded Turbos, you aren't getting any power from that tune. I would look into full tune performance before tearing car apart for the turbos. Dyno needs to read at least 300/400
  20. Race tune is used for maybe 5 minutes run time over the engine life. It's not my daily.
