There is a user on this forum who was tuned for 50k mi. The car is fine. I got about 17k on my tuned out of 20 and I daily 93 be short shift and kick it up to race tune at the track. LMS is solid on their reliability. I would suggest getting a thermostat and the corresponding LMS tune for it.
Well, this is a full second to 60. Could be a difference between an easy highway merge and a less fun one.
For people who never go over 20% throttle in any car, I'm guessing there is no difference.
Even when the Edge has enough power to hang with the X3 M40i u gotta keep pushing it to put the power down. I can hang with em at the track. On the street with launch control, I am not so sure.
But...nobody ever races on the street so no reason to even mention it.
One of the biggest changes is the 8 speed transmission.
As far as Sport price, I saw some models going over 50k fully loaded with base MSRP around 42k.
Standard stop start feature for the engine might be a problem for drag racers.
On the ST, couple thousand could be the difference of going with another vehicle...
Is it possible to grab the same exact item from ebay at a fraction of the price of an ssd, battery, and the time you spent?
Also, I bet your phone can do everything already. And if you had an Android you could just pop a 200GB micro sdxc into it.
The tunes are auto adjusting, a 93 tune for example can also benefit from 100 octane or 105. 93 gets you over 100hp, I don't think 91 will be horrible either.
Paint your car white, park in the shade, see if a thermostat is available. Took my 15 Sport from 203 to 183 engine temp.
That's going from a 190 tstat yo a 160 but...it did require a tune modification.
I think I got nothing. New car?
I think everyone would either look them up on the internet like you did or get a measuring tape out. I suggest you do the second and you already tried the first and don't want to risk car not fitting past purchase. Also, the mirrors do fold.
