  1. I got mine on Feb 1st. Traded in my 2016 SEL for the 2019 ST, 401A, cold weather, 21", White platinum. Haven't got the chance to put her through her paces yet and take her for a long roadtrip. I call her STrr (Ester).
  2. you might want to check Facebook Ford Edge WorldWide group (FEWW) and connect with Chris Lister.
  3. Interresting discussion about parking brake usage and habits, but I think we digressed from the op and should maybe re-focus the discussion
  4. Parking brake is always on as soon as car is parked, But, as with any of my new vehicles, I like to put to the test their different features, that includes parking with and without the parking brake on.
  5. I just got my ST Feb 1st and I noticed similar odd behavior. It's more like a transmission lurch as soon as I shift to park with my foot on the brakes; like it's having problem disengaging from R or D mode. Then the normal roll once I remove my foot off the brakes. No rolls when I shut the engine off.
  6. An option would be to cover the USB lights with thin strips of black electrical tape, or black vinyl wrapping; both can be removed upon returning the lease and should reduce the light at night. Agree overall it's a design flow. Should be able to connect apple car play or android auto via bluetooth or NFC; also should be able to turn charging pad on/off via a menu option.
  7. I've got the same thing on my ST. Picture not as focused but if you zoom in, you can see it
  8. no more wondering, I put them on today and they fit. just don't do her Justice
  9. Just took delivery of my ST last night and checked the left IPC menu and can not find any menu options to turn on/off the adaptive lights.
  10. extract from owner's Manual page 82: ADAPTIVE HEADLAMPS (IF EQUIPPED): The headlamp beams move in the same direction as the steering wheel. This provides more visibility when driving around curves. The system only works with the lighting control in the autolamp position. You can switch this feature on or off in the information display (page 105)
  11. Wondering if the 18" rims from the SE will fit on the 2019 ST (No break performance package) Just traded in my 2016 SEL for a 2019 ST and already have the SE 18" rims with winter tires. Plan is later on to sell the 18" and get 20" for winters for the ST, but need to get through this winter first.
  12. If by late model you mean Gen 2 (2015-2018) , HID option is available on Titanium & Sports model depending on the package you choose. 302A for Titanium and 401A for sport. you can find the order guides for each year on Blue Oval Forum: https://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/files/category/3-edge/
  13. 2016 to 2018 sport are all AWD. only 2015 had the option FWD-AWD.
  14. here are the threads about the taillights swap: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/19759-2015-sesel-light-bar-solution http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/19772-sel-tail-light-swap/
  15. Need help with some investigation: couple of weeks ago got the Wife a 2018 Titanium loaded. all except a slight misalignement on the lift gate which the dealer said will get there bodyshop to take care of. While comparing the lift gate to others on the lot, discovered that it our car was missing the Upper Weather Strip (CJ5Z-7843720-. the dealer we purchased the car from had the car brought in form another dealership. what i'm trying to understand is that: - Did the car leave the factory with the missing part? if so how did it pass inspection and what else might be missing? - If it left the factory with no parts missing; was the lift gate damaged during transport then repaired and they forgot to add a new weatherstrip. I was hopping if I could get my hand on any service details for the car (if i provide the VIN) it could help shed some light. Anyone with access to OASIS that could help?
  16. Here's another set of 20" a bit cheaper https://www.ebay.com/itm/20-FORD-EDGE-WHEELS-RIMS-FACTORY-ORIGINAL-ORIGINAL-OEM-SET-2015-2016-18-22/302879986071?hash=item46850dd197:g:QO8AAOSwT6pV14wL
  17. Here's a set https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-NEW-GENUINE-FORD-EDGE-FACTORY-18-WHEELS-TIRES-OEM-RIMS-10043-FT4C1007A1A/191947384809?hash=item2cb0f4a7e9:g:~PQAAOSwawpXsxmV Though doesn't fall in the inexpensive category.
  18. Thanks Omar. I can get the 17" OEM with TPMS for $500 CAD, thus no need to look for replicas. I think the consensus from the responses so far is to go with 17" for winters Vs 18".
  19. The input request is mainly for my Wife's 2018 Escape. I have 18" winters for my 2016 Edge
  20. All, need your expert input, Just bought my lovely wife a new 2018 Escape Titanium (maybe that way I get some time in my EDGE). Now looking for winter rims. The OEM rims are 18x7.5 and very hard to find used ones as an extra set for winter tires. Options available: 1 - downgrade to 17" rims: a- used OEM steels b- used 2016 OEM 17" Alloys 2- OEM 18" alloy but a bit wider 18x8 (instead of 18x7.5) this increase the options available 3- OEM 18x7.5 from Focus (2005-2013) or C-max (2007-2010) still rare to find. 4- wait for a set of 2013-2018 escape 18" rims become available on the market. I'm inclined for option 2, with option 2b as a second option.
  21. You can do the modifications using Forscan and an OBDII reader. You can either add the DRL control menu to the left instrument panel to turn it on/off, or you can change it so your high beams are your DRLs, or your turn signals. more details can be found on these threads: https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/22836-adding-drl-control-to-left-instrument-cluster-canadian-edge/ https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/23250-comprehensive-list-of-possible-forscan-mods/
  22. Had a similar issue when I had the brake booster replaced on my 2016 SEL. Debris got into the ABS HCU (Hydraulic control Unit) and they had to replace it (mechanic caught that one during test drive and further diagnostics). Still had a soft pedal after that and it turned out to be there is a specific procedure to follow once you replace HCU to properly bleed the brake lines that wasn't executed correctly. They ended up having to flush the brake system fully and reapply the procedure. Haven't had a problem since.
  23. Omar, There's a TSB for the exhaust smell. Detail can be found on this thread http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/22596-tsb-17-0035-exhaust-odor-in-the-vehicle-while-the-climate-control-system-is-in-auto-or-recirculation-m
  24. Check this thread for details. Would be good if you move your thread to the one already existing for continuity. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/23034-2015-ford-edge-raptor-style-grille/page-1
