Aftermarket wheels and tires for winter
knickerbocker replied to Etienne Bégin's topic in Wheels & Tires
I think that's the best decision. When I pick up my 2016 I'm getting the Blizzaks mounted to stock rims and find some rims whenever there is a deal in the spring/summer. -
Maybe the 2017-2018s might have appearance package but all indications from order guides and Ford.com don't have it on the 16's.

It sounds like the USB drive's MFT (master file table) is corrupt. This can happen by removing the device while it is being accessed. The problem is easily fixed by formatting the drive as the message suggests. That does, however, permanently delete all data that may still exist on the drive. Windows has a tool called Check Disk (chkdsk) that can repair the MFT on a corrupted USB. I did a quick google search and found this set of instructions on using chkdsk to repair a USB drive: http://html5.litten.com/updated-how-to-fix-external-disk-drive-suddenly-became-raw/ Good luck! Hope this helps.

Hey Jason. Welcome to Ford Edge Forum. The turn signal might have the intelligent feature that blinks 3 times for a lane change. Push it a bit further and it clicks and flicks off after a turn is made.

VOYO Introduces Advanced Connected Car Technology
knickerbocker replied to Edge Guide's topic in Articles, News & Reviews
I've been using Mojio in my car for almost a year. It helps close the gap between what the vehicle can tell me on board and what I need to know when I'm away from my car. It can't start/stop or lock/unlock, but it's great for showing location and fuel level while away from the vehicle. Also, if there are any diagnostic codes thrown, I receive an alert with a list of possible problems and links to nearby repair facilities. -
I agree, akirby. I asked my dealer as soon as I saw that and was told that priority 80 was just a temporary code and would be upgraded.

I got my vehicle order confirmation when I ordered my 2016. Order No: 0001 Priority: 80 Order Type: 2 Afaik this info means my vehicle configuration is registered with Ford and is waiting to be scheduled/built.

Welcome to FEF scorpionking0102! My 2016 Order went in on Oct 31; Kona Blue Titanium. Too Good ToBe Blue is a classy dark-greyish blue that looks great with the LED accents at night. Kona is a more candy-shell or sporty blue that has a purple hue in sunlight. All of the 2016 colour choices look great, and these forums are a great resource to help you learn about the latest generation Edge and what a fair price is, too.

I love the black grill on the 2015s. I'm considering platidip or vinyl on the grey/chrome grill when I get my 2016 titanium.

No response from dealer parts dept yet. Looking online there are many options for alloys, but still pushes over $2k with tax/shipping. Might just buy the tires and swap them on my rims, but I'd rather have a separate set for those mid-winter trips south.

I'm looking at these for front turn signal replacements on my 2016. http://www.powerbulbs.com/ca/product/xtreme-vision-py21 Are the resistors required or can the Edge do without? Are there any cheaper and still reliable LED replacements?

Just ordered my 2016 Edge with X-Plan. There is also factory order rebate of $1000.

Yikes! Allow Winter Rims are not cheap! Checking with the dealer for some winter steelies that I can throw some blizzaks on. Looks like it might even be cheaper to swap tires on stock rims.

From the manual: Condensation in Lamp Assemblies Exterior lamps have vents to accommodate normal changes in air pressure. Condensation can be a natural by-product of this design. When moist air enters the lamp assembly through the vents, there is a possibility that condensation can occur when the temperature is cold. When normal condensation occurs, a fine mist can form on the interior of the lens. The fine mist eventually clears and exits through the vents during normal operation. Clearing time may take as long as 48 hours under dry weather conditions. Examples of acceptable condensation are: The presence of a fine mist (no streaks, drip marks or large droplets). A fine mist covers less than 50% of the lens. Examples of unacceptable condensation are: A water puddle inside the lamp. Streaks, drip marks or large droplets present on the interior of the lens. If you see any unacceptable condensation, have your vehicle checked by an authorized dealer.

Thanks for the replies guys. It looks like for the 2015s it was the same. Strange that there would be such differences between US/Canadian models.

I've attached the Canadian Order Guide for the 2016 Ford Edge. Can anyone help interpret whether the Titanium equipment inconsistencies? The Pano Roof is Optional with the Touring package, but the Roof rails are still not available on 301/302 in Canada. Should I assume the BAMR is included in 301/302? I hate assumptions when doing a Factory Order. 16Edge_Cdn_OrderGuide.pdf

Tried to submit my order for Titanium with 301A and Roof Rails, but it comes back as incompatible. Dealer says the roof rails are incompatible with Pano Roof, but I didn't select that option. Does anyone know if the Pano Roof comes with 301/302 groups? It appears as optional package but no option to add roof rails on 301/302.

2015 FORD EDGE SPORT FINALLY BEING BUILT
knickerbocker replied to baseball's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
Rumor has it that the US market is getting the 2016's first, while other markets are pushed back to January. But like I said, just a rumor in an attempt to get me to have my order in ASAP. -
The Cold Weather Package is Included in the Titanium 301A and 302A packages in Canada. One of several differences I've noticed.
