  1. I put one of my ctek chargers on my Edge, (I have a couple of old cars that I use them on over winter), and when it showed the battery was fully charged I removed it and checked the doors and all of them were working. I have recently needed to drive my car more, and I check the other handles each time I'm out and so far they work every time. Maybe there is something to the handle sensors in the "secondary" doors turning off if the battery is weak?
  2. Yes, I have read that too about the moisture, as I have been doing some google searching on this issue and have seen on just about all of the forums for the different Ford models, people discussing this same issue with their handles. I did see one other post on I believe either an Explorer or Expedition forum, that a weak vehicle battery could cause this issue too. They said that if the system identifies that the vehicle battery is weak, one of things it does to conserve power is to turn off the sensors in all of the door handles except the drivers door. I don't know if that is it or not, but it makes sense. While I believe that my battery is probably ok if i drive it enough, my Edge does sit unused sometimes for several days, and even up to a week. I will have to pay attention to if this happens only after the vehicle sits for a while.
  3. Thanks, let me know what you find out. I guess mine is intermittent too, I tried them this morning after they weren't working for several days, and the other doors are working again.
  4. I have a 2018 Edge Sport that I have had since new. I used to be able to lock and unlock using the handle of any door with the intelligent access system. Just recently I can only do this with the drivers door handle. If I try this with any of the other three doors it will not lock pressing on the ribbed area or unlock with my hand inside the handle. Is there a setting that I may of accidently changed that only allows this? I have looked through the owners manual, but cannot find anything reference making only the driver door work when using the intelligent access system. I just want to make sure I am not missing something before going to the dealer for a possible repair. Thanks.
  5. I just leased an '18 Sport yesterday. The sticker was $49,380 before the AWD & cold weather discount. My x-plan price was $46,542, and I got $5,000 in rebates from Ford, if this helps you any.
  6. Well, I dropped off my Edge yesterday to the dealer, and he called me a little bit ago and said they confirmed the hard pedal this morning. They checked out everything and could not find an issue, so they are ordering another new brake booster. Maybe I should of just put up with the grabby brakes throughout my 3 year lease, it has already been over a year. Hopefully this doesn't become an ongoing issue.
  7. Yep, when I talked to the service manager on Friday, he wanted me to see how it does over the weekend, but so far it is still the same. I'll be calling him Monday to schedule it in.
  8. Just had the brake booster replaced on my '15 Edge due to the "grabby" brakes. It seems to have helped with that problem, but now every morning when I go to start the car and I push on my brake pedal, the pedal is hard. Once it starts, the pedal drops down to the normal area where it should be, and while driving it is fine, it is just after the car sits overnight that the pedal is hard. I guess I need to take it back to the dealer for that now.
  9. This was the TSB that was performed on my Edge back in May, after three other repair attempts didn't work. Mine is still rattle free today, so it worked for me.
  10. My original moonroof rattle is still gone, it stopped after the dealer performed the last TSB on May 7th. Even though I kept calling it a rattle, it was more like a creaking noise, but so far so good with it. Now since the headliner was out something like 4 times, I do have a rattle above the sunglass holder and I still have that jingling type noise above my head (maybe from a magnet, I've been told?). I have not had the car back to the dealer to have these addressed yet, I was waiting for the next oil change. I too have also heard the sloshing gas noise in my Edge and told the service adviser about it, he told me it was a normal sound due to some way the gas tanks are built??? He explained it out to me, but I don't remember what he said, even if I understood it then?
  11. Reference your noise #2, have your dealer check into TSB 16-0079. That is the TSB that the dealer had to perform on my Edge to get rid of the "creaky" rattle sound from my pano roof.
  12. For anyone that is interested, my Edge is still rattle free as of today, (3 weeks since repaired), so the newest TSB seems to have worked for me. I finally got a copy of my paperwork, and it states TSB 16-0079 was performed.
  13. Lund makes an Aeroskin hood protector for the '15-'16 model. You can get it from Lund, or Ford sells them too at their accessories site with the Ford logo on it.
