  1. Anyone know what the weight is of 1 2015 20'' Sport Rim?
  2. Just left the dealership and they are ordering parts to fix the lack of cooled seats in the back (part of seat). Not sure what they are ordering but they say they have a fix (maybe something similar to the F150?). Will update as I get my car gets fixed.
  3. Check out the difference between a stock and tuned. LMS said it would be weeks.
  4. Thanks for the update Corey, if you can take any videos of the speedo that would be cool to see! Did they further tune it from your last update (90ish whp gain) to see if more power is available? Any idea when the tune will be released to the public?
  5. Snow and off dat line powa when I eventually get it tuned.
  6. Wow, super impressive numbers, I would have been happy with 50 whp gains, but at 90 whp gains that thing has to FLYYYYY
  7. So it is interesting you said that.... if I look at the two runs and compare you can clearly see where the shift point makes up the difference in D vs. S. DRIVE: SPORT:
  8. 2300 miles as of testing
  9. Hey guys, So now that my car is broken in a bit more I am starting to perform some testing to see how my 0-60 changes with different driving methods. Today's test is a stock test measuring 0-60 between Drive and Sport mode in the transmission. I did something similar with my GLi (http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?7243386-VBOX-Times-VS-Tune-gt-APR-Tune) and would like to do the same for this car. So here we go.... One run each transmission mode in a straight away with almost same starting point. You will notice a negative slope, which is less than a half of a percent... so that means I started at an elevation of 187.8 ft and when the run was over was at 186.5 ft (essentially negligible). Brake boost was 1000 rpm for each run, 93 octane, and legit 0-60 (not a 1 foot roll out) Questions or comments welcome! One fun fact was the SPORT mode run had a 0-60 with 1 foot roll out of 5.672 seconds! I am thinking next test should be best brake boost point? 1000 rpm vs. 1500 rpm vs 2000 rpm, thoughts?
  10. That car looks twice as sharp with no front license plate too Brad!
  11. https://www.detailersdomain.com/collections/all/products/sonax-perfect-finish-4-6-250-ml This stuff does amazing work and will easily take out water spots in no time, highly recommend.
  12. Na, I would assume 1 second reaction with 1 second to brake which is easily enough time. Thanks for doing the math though.
  13. Looks to take more then 400 milliseconds to me, again like I said, around 1-2 seconds to lock then get a speed.... And since I can brake more then 15 mph within 2 seconds I wouldn't be caught
  14. Valentine 1 Owner here. I had the same issue, but read (and can't remember where) that eventually the cigarette lighter (do they still call them that?) eventually turns off when a certain voltage is reached in the battery. I have left my car with the radar detector plugged in and on, locked the car, and day after it was off, Radar detector turned right back on when I turned the ignition on and have not had a dead battery once. And to POWERSTROKE, I was Lasered in CT but a trooper going 80, but by the time he finally locked on me... was going 65 and didn't break a sweat. Lasers take a second or two to lock on which gives me time to slow down.
  15. Nice Corey, I was hoping someone in the area of Livernois would have an Edge and help out with tuning as I have been bugging them for over a month for a tune, ha!
  16. Nope, wouldn't make sense to have to turbos flowing into a small pipe then split in the end! Although I am wondering how much more flowing the exhaust could be if the suitcase muffler was taken out!
  17. Car isn't broken in! What track? Launch rpm? 85* and depending on track could have seen some high DA. Tuned by who!?!?!??!?! Thank you for posting!
  18. I see there are a lot of options on TireRack.com -> http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?&autoMake=Ford&autoModel=Edge&autoYear=2015&autoModClar=Sport Looks like they have a couple of 18'' options!
  19. Hey guys, I know this question probably doesn't come up a lot, but with winter coming up in a couple months and changing to winter tires is on my mind.... what is the smallest rim that will fit and clear the brakes (13.6 inches?) on the Edge Sport? I think 18's will right? Thanks!
  20. I don't see one in the owners manual specifically for that LED... so to piggyback on WingNut's idea, I would think you can run a switch from the dash to the wires to turn them on/off manually if you want.
  21. Nice work! At 70 mph average the same in my Sport!
  22. Vbox sport is a bit above $400. Nothing is as accurate as a full GPS 20mhz device with multiple data points to measure speed. Aeroforce gauge measure through speed sensors and other readings within the car, but unless you truly know how level the road is or if you out different wheels or tires on, it won't be more accurate then a crappy cell app. If someone wants to hook me up with a Lincoln in the Ma/Ri/Ct area I'll test as much as you guys want.
  23. Update: 2015 Edge Sport AWD 1100 miles Less than 1/4 tank of 93 octane Driver only Outside temp 68F Shifter in sport No brake torque, just mash gas 0-60 (1 foot roll out (similar to what some car mags do) = 5.900 seconds 0-60 (no roll out) = 6.324 Slope = .089% (pretty darn flat) DA = 682 feet Further testing with brake boosting and maybe cooler air will yield better results, pretty happy with what I have now.
  24. One thing that some people might want to do is polish/was the panoramic roof... Recently did this as some water spots wouldn't come out after the first wash (most likely due to car sitting on dealer lot for weeks...) So some polish/wax for 15 minutes and removed the spot with a lot of dirt to boot!
  25. That's what I assume, even though it is .8 L smaller then the 3.5 TT set up, the turbos are the same (from what I read - GT15's) and most likely has a lot of room left on the table to gain some HP.
