  1. Any chance you can let me know exactly what bulbs you used? I've bought a couple of different led bulbs and they flicker.
  2. No need to personally insult people. That's not appreciated. Lets keep it civil please. I didn't personally attack you. No need to attack me. As someone who has driven an Edge with the big brake kit I know what I'm talking about. As someone that has driven vehicles with redstuff and greenstuff pads I know what I'm talking about. Feel free to disagree. But I've experienced what I've said and did not read it on a website.
  3. There is no chip. However there is a plug in tuner that is mentioned by Lex. The XCal 3 is really, really easy to use. It can be found through couple distributors, including Steeda.
  4. Hi Everyone and thanks for the feedback on the CAI. Your comments are greatly appreciated and we take them seriously. I just wanted to go over a couple points. 1. - We include a plastic tube because an aluminum tube will hold more heat and cause your inlet temps to go up, and thus lose performance. 2 - The kit is meant to fit snug against the liner of your hood to seal the airbox against the hood and isolate it from hotter engine air. 3 - We have installed this kit on several Edge vehicles for fitment and have not run into any issues with things not fitting properly. We have also tested the kit on several different model years. 4 - We got an additional 31 HP and 25 FT LBS of torque on several different vehicles. A dyno sheet is attached. 5 - When installing the trim on to the shield it can help to sometimes cut a slit in the underside of the trim to help it wrap around corners. We have never had a need to use adhesives and you should not need any. This is the same trim we use for all of our kits, including Mustang kits which have been used in the tens of thousands by Shelby and Ford Racing. 6 - The piece coming out of the top of the photo on our site is a resonator that does not come with the kit. The MAF sensor mount is not visible in the photo on our site. Now that this is being brought up we do need to update our photo to not show the resonator. This will be done shortly. If anyone has any questions we have a full staff of sales and support that can help with any pre-sale or installation questions you may have. Thanks, Larry (Yes, I work at Steeda )
  5. A couple things to input on this: Upgrading to the Brembo front kit will not trow off the balance of your braking system. And it will decrease braking distances, not increase. A greenstuff pad would be a better fit for the Edge. It would not be as good of an idea to use redstuff pads for a vehicle that many people cart their family around in. Redstuff pads are a very good pad when warmed up, but when they are cool the stopping force is decreased and will take more effort to stop the vehicle.
  6. Steeda is now including an insert with all of their Edge Cold Air Kits so that a tune is no longer required. If you have a tuner you can leave out the insert for optimal performance.
  7. Steeda JUST released their cold air kit for the Edge. It's in stock and ready to ship ! http://www.steedaedge.com/store/product_in...;products_id=47
