I was looking through Ford's build a vehicle page and I believe that they lowered their interest rates on financing. 0.9% APR financing for 36 months 1.9% APR financing for 48 months 2.9% APR financing for 60 months 4.9% APR financing for 72 months Offer valid: 02/22/2007 - 04/02/2007 APR Financing Program # 20064 These seem to have been updated recently (2/22/07). I don't remember exactly what the rates were before, but I think they lowered them by 1% or so. Anyone know for sure? :wacko:

Wow, that middle photo of the Edge smashed in the air gives me chills. (and not good ones either) I couldn't find how the rating system grades. I believe that five stars is the highest. Correct? Thanks for the link. :shades:

Hey Jerry congratulations! The edge looks great in Redfire. I was expecting more of a firehouse red, but that looks great. I'm waiting on my Black SEL Plus AWD with bammer, GPS, Reverse Sensing, 18" Chrome Wheels, etc... Can't wait for it! Anyhow, good luck and enjoy.

Congrats Jerry! I ordered my SEL+ AWD on Januray 22nd and I'm still waiting. How the heck did you get your vehicle so fast from the factory? Good luck and enjoy it.

Hey Bob thanks for the info. This clears up my concerns. One last question though. I understand that the unit should play a dvd movie as well. (not while driving) If I wanted to install rear headrest screens (bammer roof) in the future, assuming that there are dvd out-puts for that, would the navigation dvd have to be removed to play the movie? Real world scenario: I'm using the navigation while on a road trip and the kids want to watch a movie in the rear while we drive. Can the unit perform both at the same time? Possible or not possible? Thank for the info.

If you have received your vehicle with navigation please let me know the following. Does the unit still have a 6 cd player in it? or just the DVD? If it does have the 6 disc, does the DVD use up one of the spaces in order to use the navigation? Can you listen to a cd while the unit is navigating you with audio directions? In essence, I would like to know if you have to load the dvd navigation disc to use the navigation, and unload it to load a cd for music? Or is the dvd disc always in and you can also have cd music at the same time? I have my vehicle on order and would like to make any necessary changes as soon as possible. I definitely would not want to have to constantly load and unload a navigation dvd. And I also wouldn't want to loose the capability of the cd's. Thanks for any help. :wacko:

Thanks Jrod, you obviously are a great Ford employee. I've been reading posts for quite a while now, and I'm glad to be here. I'm waiting on an Edge Plus AWD Black w/ bammer, reverse sensing, chrome cladding. Upon receipt I will install a Pioneer navigation Avic Z1 with hard drive so that I can use the navigation while listening to a cd. The factory unit must have a dvd while you use the navigation, therefore you can't listen to a cd, or you run the risk of scratching the navigation dvd. Also in the works will be a remote start after market alarm, and replacing the factory speakers with Polk Audio two-ways. (I do all the installs.) Thanks again.
