  1. No, each dealer was responsible for fixing the cars, and Ford when they bought the cars back, a lot were scrapped and a lot were fixed and sent to the various auctions, but that was 2 years ago. They have all been sold.
  2. Call Ford and or talk to the dealer and request a meeting with the Ford District Service Manager. The wire harness runs along the floor of the vehicle and you probably had 3" of water under the carpet/Styrofoam and the water corrodes the connections which ARE NOT water tight. Ford spent millions of dollars repairing these vehicles. Ford set out the procedure REPLACE the Wire Harness for this exact same reason you are talking about. Your vehicle WAS NOT repaired to Ford standards so that falls 100% on the dealer. It is the dealers responsibility to ensure Factory repairs as set forth in a TSB are followed to the letter!
  3. They are referring to the ditch seams, channels under the "Black plastic roof trim". I have never seen these clog up.
  4. Did you have the TSB preformed for the water leak? Did the dealer do it properly? They are supposed to replace the entire wire harness. You have corrosion in your wires GUARANTEED!!! Make sure they replaced the entire wire harness, dash out, entire interior out....A lot of dealers did not replace the wiring harness the TSB states it has to be replaced.
  5. There are NO sunroof/vista Roof/Moon roof drain tubes. It is a gasket/weatherstrip that the glass seals against.
  6. How would the dealership check? Rip the car apart and sped hours? NO...Certifying is for safety not for leaks...
  7. The electrical component that MUST be replaced if it got wet is under the passenger seat and is a power inverter. Do you even have one of those in your vehicle?
  8. Build date 7/9??? It should be 06/15 or 07/15 and the vin should be greater then FBB50000
  9. Where are you located? Carpets are available. A dealer can order 1 set per week. An "A" dealer can order 3 sets per week. Inverters are available. What dealer has your car?
  10. Work with your service manager and the District Service Manager. You will get more that way. Has yours been fixed yet?
  11. Yes you are correct there were 200 plus or minus preproduction models made out there...I know of 1 leaker....
  12. Hi Supersoaker...I think you misunderstood the post from dpulum...the payment of $600.00 per month id their car payment... the rental car is covered 100% with NO out of pocket money from her.... No one got fired! Can't...unionized. NO issues with the later production Edges or the new MKX
