I like it a little. I just joined the Mach E Forum. Mostly to keep track of how it does.

I've seen snowblowers on TV and movies but never seen one in real life. We don't get much snow in Tennessee

I guess with Ford only keeping a Hybrid or maybe all electric Focus and the Mustang as their only cars, making a Mustang SUV makes a little sense. The Escape looks like a ballooned out Focus to me anyway

Yep, your MyKey has been set. You have to have both keys to undo it :(.

With Ford dropping almost all the cars, GM is too, I'm afraid it might happen this time. They're talking about a SUV style C8 Corvette in around 2025 on the Corvette Forum I'm a member of

2014 Edge new front pads and rotors.

After getting new wheels and tires on our (Wife's) 2014 Edge with around 38,000 miles I noticed the brakes had a bad vibration when stopping harder than normal. I hardly ever drive the Edge, I asked her how long have the brakes been doing this? She said quiet a while. She thought it was the almost worn out tires and never told me about it. Yesterday I went down to my local parts store and bought new rotors and pads for the front. I started to buy Motorcraft rotors but mine warped at 2,000 miles on my Mustang and now our Edge at 38,000 so I don't trust the factory OEM rotors. The rotors I bought have a 2 year warranty and the pads have a life time warranty. So, $225 and 2 hours later I installed them yesterday morning. They feel nice and smooth now. No more vibration while braking

The 18 inch tires (Cooper Zeon RS3-A) on my Mustang have a good half inch of rubber wheel protection built into the tire. It would be very hard to curb the wheel. I've noticed the SUV size tires have no wheel protection built in the tire. Even our new Michelin tires (20 inch) have 'zero' wheel protection. I wonder why?

Just checked, the wheels are made by a place called Replica Alloys. I guess they make wheels for a lot of different cars that look similar to 'factory' wheels. The wheels on my 2011 Mustang look similar to these

Thank You I found them on the Discount Tire web site. Looking for 20 inch wheels that fit our 2014 Edge. I called my local Discount Tire and ordered them. They checked and said the wheels will fit a 2014 Edge and ordered them. Four days later they were installed with the new tires, I had to buy new lug nuts. I asked, will I have to buy a thin wall lug wrench or anything like that? He told me the factory lug wrench will still fit. I 'think' the company that makes the wheels is called Mustang Replicas, I'm not sure.

Thank you

Had the 20 inch chrome clad wheels that were beautiful but had curb rashes all to heck :(. Found some Mustang replica wheels (20 inch) from Discount Tire. Had some Michelin Premier LTX tires put on too. We also paid off the 2014 Edge last month with 37,000 miles on it so my wife should have several more years to enjoy it :).

I'm getting ready to buy new 20 inch wheels to replace the 20 inch chrome clad wheels on our 2014 Edge. I have found a few wheels I like on The Tire Rack and at Discount Tire. The wheels I have picked say they fit our 2014 Edge but I've noticed the hub bores are different on some of the wheels. My main question is are our wheels on the 2014 Edge 'hub centric' or 'lug centric'? Thanks for any help because this is driving me crazy

Small Pinhole Dent Removal 2014 White Ford Edge
David Young replied to A2014FordEdge's topic in Exterior & Body
I would give up before you do more damage. Go to a paint less dent repair place and have them fix it. I know someone who had a pretty big door ding and they fixed it for $150 and you can't see where it was. Most of them know what they are doing -
They have been 4 door, station wagon and SUV 'renderings' of the Mustang since 1965 :(. I hope this is just another 'rendering...………………...

*Urgent* Please help me find the part number of this clip!
David Young replied to AntDeek's topic in Lounge
I would go down to your local Ford dealer and ask the 'parts' guy to look at his parts list on their computer. They might even have one in stock -
ABS & Traction Control Warning Lamps | 07 Edge
David Young replied to Chummy's topic in Wheels & Tires
I've done some pretty major repairs to my F150, Mustang, my Boat and our Edge using 'YouTube' videos. I tell my wife, 'if there is a YouTube video on how to fix or do something, I'll be able to do it' -
Go to 'Settings' and push OK. Find 'Vehicle' and press OK. Scroll down to 'Oil Life Reset' and press OK. You are now ready to set your % of oil life. I set mine to 100% but some people set theirs to 80% for extra safety, I don't because I change our oil every 3,000 miles (I'm old school) and usually has 30 something % of oil life left on the meter

Thank you :). A little bit out of my price range :(.

Nice wheels. Do they have 20 inch? You have the link to where you bought them? I'm looking for new wheels for our Edge in the next few months and those look perfect

Will a 93 octane tune *really* cause faster engine and trans wear?
David Young replied to AntDeek's topic in Lounge
Our 3.5 2014 Edge is and will stay 100% stock. The 3.7 in my 2011 Mustang with an automatic transmission has long tube headers with a 93 octane tune, I 'might' be around 290 wheel horsepower. I've been running the tune for over 8 years and 31,000 miles with no negative effects. You will be 'near' 300 crank horsepower with a tune on your Edge. They are advertised to add around 20 crank rated horsepower for their sales adds -
Our new 2013 Edge Limited 3.5 was a piece of crap and instead of 'lemon lawing' it, we just traded it in on our next Edge. We traded it in on a new 2014 Edge Limited 3.5 engine. No changes according to Ford between the 2013 and 2014 Edge. The difference between the two were night and day. The 2014 rides smoother but handled so much better than the 2013 Edge did. It now has 33,000 miles and still rattle free and solid feeling. My wife drives the Edge more than me. I asked her, what does she hate about her Edge? She told me the only thing are the 20 inch 'chrome clad' wheels. They stick out almost an inch past the tires and are curbed rash very easy. That's the only thing she doesn't like. We are going to buy new 20 inch aluminum wheels in a couple months when the factory tires are replaced.

Edge vs Grand Cherokee
David Young replied to Wizbangdoodle's topic in Competing Crossovers & Vehicles
Jeep products are JD Powers top pick when they are 'new' only to be put on their vehicles to 'avoid' list when the are 'used' and a couple years old
