Ok...back on topic.....I tested my 2015 Edge Sport for 30min on high seat ac and the back of the seat(not front of seat) did get mildly warm to the touch. The front of the seat was still cooling just fine.

I have a 2015 edge sport......and used the seat cooling plenty of times and I have not noticed any additional heat build up.

Sport mode on the new sport makes a huge difference.....just take off slow to about 15 to 20 miles per hour and hold that speed for about 5 seconds....and then punch it.....in sport mode it hits like a sledgehammer.....very fun...Ive caught a few mustangs and chargers srts off guard and they couldnt catch me.....even on a roll on from 20 mph my sport is faster than my bothers 2014 STI....the sti is faster from 0 to 60....but just barley....and my bother is shifting like a demon....first time we tried it, I had him....I think he underestimated how fast the edge actually is.

S means sport mode. It does lock in the paddle shifters...but only if you engage them. If you leave them alone and select S then it changes shift points and throttle response....It makes a big difference.

the real fun will be in the tunning.....I really think these 2.7s have some potential! warranty issues will be key tho!

Its the 350 ft/lb of torque that is going to be monstrous to overcome with torque steer......just wondering if you took tract control off youd be be able drop some serious rubber....lol.

Yes. ..it works just like itunes....but better....and no Spyware.

I use media monkey instead of Itunes....does a much better job of up sampling codecs...or codec conversion....and it has a free version.

Thats exactly how I felt as well cab2g.....its definitely well worth it, when you consider how much it protects your investment.

It was a professional install. ...took 6 hours. Cost was 700.00....lifetime warranty on both product and install....even if I sell the vehicle....I was extremely happy with the final look.....the fact that it's so hard to see...was exactly what I wanted.

Yes the grill is as well.....bugs come off really easy....when you touch the clear bra it feels really slippery.... You can even apply non-pigmented wax to it as well.

My guess is its a codec issue.....I'd convert every thing to mp3.

Just thought I would share the install of the 3M Clear Bra Pro on the new Edge Sport....it was very tough to photograph as its almost completely seamless. The entire front end, and up the hood 22 inches, All the mirrors, and rocker panels were done.

Sorry it took so long to upload. As you can see, the clear bra is almost seamless....I was very happy with the final product.....I really like the self-healing function.

I usually do lots of cross border shopping as well....but lately with the exchange....it just isnt worth it right now.

my brother shops at 1010....he says he gets some good deals....Ill have to check it out. In past Ive bought all my tires and rims from fountain tire....they gave me some pretty competitive prices on everything.

18 inch steel black rims and gt radial champiro ice pro is what I'm going with....here in Alberta. ...I'm sure our winters are similar to yours. Used this setup on our torrent suv....and I kid you not...winter driving feels more like summer driving with the champiro ice Pros....you can get them studded as well.

No not at all....it's a custom job. For 3m clear bra pro...with self healing was 700. That was the entire front end 22 inches up the hood. Looks virtually seamless and undetectable....and has a lifetime warranty. ....both product and application. I can post A PIC if you want to see what it looks like.

for my edge sport it is just the entire driver side floor pan that gets wet.........all of the passenger floor pans stay completely dry. I dried mine out as the dealer is waiting for parts.....and then took it through a touchless car wash.....and it did get damp.....not soaked but it went from being bone dry to damp.....and with my wet vac I pulled about 3 table spoons full of water out of it. Id really like to know what the dealer/ford protocol for this is....is it a complete new insulation and carpet?

I had a custom 3M clear bra pro installed on my 2015 Sport.....it protects the entire front end, side rocker panels and mirrors.

we have ours back from dealer.....now waiting on parts....could be a few weeks!
