    nice install. Id really like to save up for both detector and laser jammer....the edge sport is so deceivingly fast, its hard to maintain the speed limit. I already have a speeding ticket with my edge....first one in 16 years.

    We have a 2015 sport.....and we were given a 2014 edge limited with only 20 k on it.....our dealer goes through budget for there loaners.

    Have you contacted the US ford rep through this site...I think her name is Trica......My wife and I found that to be extremely helpful in getting the buy back expedited.

    I feel your pain...(as my wife and I went through this for 3 months)what about your lemon laws in the states.....another criteria for a buy back is a failed fix.....obviously falls into that category. Finfan3dp - what was your production date....anything after June I would say is pretty safe. You can check your vin number on Etis to see if there are any issues.

    Yes.....finding that out now. ...going to keep my eyes open for an alloy set on ebay .....looks like a person can pick up a set for under 500......which is 40 more per wheel in the plain black steel.

    That's not how my ecoboosts sound....I've had 2 edge sports so far....one had 5000 miles and current one has 1000 miles on it.

    Nope....no solutions here yet either.....still looking for a 18" steel rim myself.....so far nada......and Ive been looking for over 5 months now.

    great looking sport. I really like how the black rims look with that color. That color looks 110% better than is depicted online or in print.

    my seats seem to cool very well, there is an increase in seat temp on the back side of the seat....this heat does not seam to affect the cooling tho....some people have observed extreme heat issues while others have not(like myself).

    is your seat centered on your steering wheel.....Ive heard of seats not being properly installed and thus sit higher than usual....I think there was a thread back in May/June about just this issue.

    My head is 2 to 3 inches away from the roof...and Im 6'....and I even have my seat raised. There was a test done with Roman from TFL car and I believe he is 6'6"...and he even has ok head room.

    False.....the sport only requires regular 87 octane....and runs just fine on it. Running premium might give you more power and a touch more milage....but nothing that negates the cost.

    Thanks for the great information......just installed my nusheild and it looks great......I really like how it cuts down about 95% of the finger prints. Had to use tape to remove some of the smaller particles. .....after that it was an easy install....thanks guys!

    Both edge sports we recieved had under 12km on them.....the first one had 4km and the second had 9 km. My wife would have blown a head gasket had our dealer tried that with us. My concern would be how the vehicle was driven( for 700 miles)....many test drives turn into "Drive it like you stole it".

    traded in 2003 pontiac grand prix gt(on the edge) and now my wife drives the 2015 edge sport and I drive our 2006 torrent.....I still can not believe the difference in vehicle quality when going from the torrent to the edge.....the edge still leaves me in awe of how much I like it and enjoy driving it.

    our sport was replaced under category 5....we were also reimbursed for the clear bra 3m pro coating and our PC ESP was reset back to 0.
