If I ever get my Edge back from the dealer, I'll try the solution of deleting and adding again the phone. Hopefully that works.

Hey guy s I have a question about sync 3 apps. Is it normal for the apps to disappear from sync 3 and then have to be added back? I have Iheartradio(auto), Pandora, and Spotify. I hardly ever use Spotify, but the other 2 maybe 4 time a week. So anyways every so often they are no longer in sync and have to add them back "find new apps". I'm wondering if it is because when the app itself updates on the phone that they for some reason unpair form sync. Anyways, just wondering if it normal because it sure is a pain to have to re-add them.

Looking good! I really want to upgrade all the speakers and install a 12" or at least a 10" sub.

So I've been to the dealer 4 times now. Last week it was in and am told it needs a new harness of sorts, but is backordered because Ford is working on a new design. The technician told me that this harness is not always making a good connection and the pins are not strong and that is why the fault is so sporadic. I haven't noticed any difference in the steering when the fault is there or not.

That's too bad. At least you got parts for yours. I had an appointment for last Monday to go in the shop, but a couple days earlier it was giving me the fault message. I drove to the dealer, they said there was between 7 to 10 codes it was giving for it. They wrote them down and told me to come back on that Monday. The fault never came back on, and the dealer said that maybe it was a hiccup in the computer and that when they pulled the codes, it should fix everything. OK??? I wanted to believe them but now it has come on 2 times in the last couple days. WTF.

Oooh! I actually have one of those in the garage somewhere. That's good thinking. But even if I get the code, won't the code or fault still need to be showing when I bring it in?

I was starting to think I was alone. Happened again yesterday. Please let me know what they find! Do you think it steers or feels any different when this message comes up? I don't really notice a difference.

Hey guys- Not sure if this is the correct forum for this. About a month ago, 4 different times I started the truck I got a "adaptive steering fault" warning. I called the dealer and was told that I could only bring it in when the light was lit up. It wouldn't store the code. Pretty hard to go to the dealer when it wasn't happening all the time. It did happen over the course of 2 days. Fast forward to yesterday and had it come on twice. Now it is off again. Has anyone had this issue? Thanks Forgot to add: 2016 Sport

Yeah the 2 12v (cig lighters) in front and the 2 usb in the console do NOT stay on. I haven't tried the 12v or the 110 in the back though. I'll report back but my guess is they will be the same.

Hey guys just picked up a 2016 sport on Saturday. Have a question about phone charging. In my 09 Escape the 12v socket was always on, the USB wouldn't charge. Now in the 16, USB does charge, but only when car is on or only briefly when you open the doors. Also, tries the 12v in the passenger side and in the center console and neither are always on. Just like the USB. Kind of a bummer as I like to charge my phone in my car sometimes. Is there a reason why it's like this? Is everyone else the same? Thanks!

Just bought a 16 sport on Saturday. Seat back does not cool, seats barely get cool. Also tries the heated seats and didn't get anywhere near as hot/warm as in my 09 Escape. Salesman says it probably has to do with the seats in the sport model. I'll have to checker with service.

Sounds like you and me are in that same boat. I'm trying to decide between what I really want, a 2016 Edge Sport, or more budget friendly 2017 Escape Titanium. I have a 2009 Escape right now. Test drove a 2017 Escape the other day. I was ready to write it off before I did so. It's a really nice vehicle. But now my decision between the 2 is ever harder! Wish there was a true Escape sport!

I talked to 2 different dealers about ordering. Both wanted $500 deposit. Both said I could walk away from the deal and get my money back, along as it wasn't some weird exotic super custom order. If you don't buy it, someone will.

It must have been an SE or SEL. Only the Titanium and Sport have the light bar.
