When I ask could they replace my new battery free of charge when I buy from them, they laugh at me and say: no siiirr I have to pay. I will try to replace it myself and hope to save $56. Thank you Thank you all

akirby thank you very much. autoparts place want to charge me $56 for installation plus $152 for BXT-59 battery, that is over $200 , lot of for me unless if there is no other way then what has to be done it has to be. do you say that signal (flag) will disappear after I drive it for example: 100 KM. Thank you

I am brand new here please excuse me for all wrongs if I do, Thank you. I have ford edge sell 2011. mechanic at dealership told me that my battery is measuring 373 cold cranking amps and needs replacement for new battery because it should be 590 cold crank amps. If I replace battery myself is there any other thing required to reset and or do after I install new battery? Can I just go and buy new battery put it in and nothing else would be required. I worry that some programs and/ or controls might be lost after I disconnect battery (power)? Thank you all
