So glad I found this before I went a bought a cargo thing for the hitch. Now I can put a box or basket on top to carry the extra stuff like a stroller and tools. Great write up!!

I hope I can find a deal like that. I got a hell of a deal on a set of the 22's off the mkZ all polished unlike the edge sport with the black inserts. I'm hoping with the hnr springs and maybe some spring clamps I can get the low i want. The 22's are nice and wide so with some good tires I should stick pretty well. Fingers crossed lol

Hey all! So I know this topic has been beat to death but I I'm wanting to lower my 07 edge. Now I don't want to lower it just for looks, but for sport. I live in Wyoming/northern Colorado and we love to go up in the mountains. Now since we have 2 cars and my edge is fwd, I figured I'd make it more twistie friendly and keep the subaru stock since it's not a wrx. I plan on going to 19 inch wheels with a lower profile tire. I know there are a few lowering springs out but it doesn't look like they really lower the edge much. Are there any interchangeable parts from other fords that will work on the edge like mustang stuff? I want this thing to hug the curves or at least have much less body roll.

Fronts

Just got the fronts installed the other day. The mechanic who did it even trimmed them around the pinch weld so the fit right.

yea the one thing about the edge I hate is how the ice and snow build up on the lower rocker. its goofy looking but its def functional. ill post pics of the front when I get them done.

sorry they are not good pics. i currently only have them on the rear. Need to get a few screws for the front and proly need to add one to each rear one just for extra securness.. lol ive got them hanging a little low just because of personal prefrence, so the scrape a little when i go over bumps or pull in driveways etc. Rallyarmor is the best and least expensive. as i mentioned before, i found them with my subarus and have put them on just about every car ive had since my first subaru. thease are the universal basic plus flaps.

i just installed rallyarmor ones on my 07 edge. I get the universal basic plus, which are bigger for suv's and trucks. ive always used them on my subarus and have found them a very good investment in all my car. plus they are only about 35 bucks after shipping. I live in wyoming so i can vouch that they hold up well. and if they ever have to be replaced they arnt expensive!

good looking edge!! i cant tell its lowered though lol. guess lowered to me is no wheel gap. how do you like those headlights?

Sweet!! Now that I know the 2011 taillights will fit the 07 I can get the led taillights from the place that does the led puddle lights.

Sorry can't get the pic to show up lol. I work at the Ford dealership so the trans and pcv were done by the previous owner about 20k ago. But will proly do again. Not sure what the ptu fluid is tho lol. As far as mods go untill spring comes ima stick to the led swaps, head and tail lights and some off road led lighting. I love the Vista roof but I need a roof top cargo carrier so that will cover most of it. I do plan on getting the sport 22 inch wheels and the exhaust and intake tho. But that will be this spring. I'd like to swap out my dinky hitch for the one off a newer edge tho.
